Linnie, Hope you and Helen can carpool from FLA.... Be warned, Helen almost always spends at least one night in Macon on the way home. She has been known to spend two nights there....Dont understand it and yet I do...:yep: If you are driving, dont let her turn off the Interstate and don't drive over 34 MPH....she gets pissed when you speed....:argue:

Sure Linnie... I will also be coming to Jax for both GAF and Soul Stew (Oct & Dec). Be in touch soon about those shows - off to hear some Zydeco this evening. Stay cool this weekend.

just a question about the trucks. Givin' the amount of equipment that the ABB has on stage with them all of it would fit in a 40ft trailer (worked on loading docks for years) What are the other two trucks for?

Glad you survived that storm Lefty! Pix on the web were amazing - weather's been soooo strange this year. You need to pick up those floaties at dime store somewhere and you'll be just fine! Just got my HTN mag in the mail today. This is a good one you guys!!!! Saw the add for Soul Stew Revival playing at the Fox Theatre NYE again 🙂

damn thats a lot of trucks for bands i never even heard of! i hear everyone complaining about the heat, and i feel really bad for those of you who have to work outside. i have gone from one central air place to the next since i got here in June. So the heat is hardly noticable to me. It is nice that just about every apartment and house down here has central air! whoo whoo! now, about that REBEL YELL...its one of those days....

Just an observation from a stagehand about bands, their traveling roadshow and the quality of the music/show. Rascal Flats - 18 trucks - okay Kenny Chesnee - 16 trucks - okay Beyonce - 16 trucks - well i just wont say anything Brad Paisley - 14 trucks - damn good guitarist but just okay. The ABB Three Trucks and they blew the doors off. Its kind of like an old hand told me - More $hit Less Talent. Clapton used to show up with two sticks and a stack and do what he does. Looking forward to traveling to Hotlanta to do it one more time.

Lefty, if flooding becomes imminent, put your instruments and amps up on the dining room table, kitchen counter tops and other tall furniture!! Good luck!

Hottest month in Atlanta since 1986. Other than July which brought some good rain, we haven't had hardly a drop all year. My neighbor's yard has 70 year old sod grass in his front yard that died. Here's to hoping we have a temperature drop between now & Sept 8. I suspect we will...
