Good grief, Carol! Terrible news about Kevin Jr....but sounds like he was at the right place at the right time. Sorry he's suffering for his courage in helping others. An apple that didn't fall far from the tree, no doubt. Rain, Rain, Rain eh....10-4. Good to see WillieHoward posting, as always. Make sure to stay on your good behavior Bro....so that you get those 2 weeks off. Glad you're getting stronger, hope you're feeling better.

prayers and much love for Deb's Mom and family, now and always..I know she must be a very great woman, she raised a daughter who is both brave and true... Pam , your a good girl, Love you for it... :clapping: Nic-y also for Leah's brave young nephew...Leah Marie, not a day goes by I dont whisper a prayer for him and all the soldiers. Bup..Kevin was just joking that if I keep playing this way, he is going to ask Paul to offer his bench to me for Rain, Rain Rain at the next JFD. wondering if Please Call Home is the same documentary we watched at Chuck's Christmas concert at the Douglas a few years back and if it will be made available for sale? with a heavey heart I too ask for the good Peachies to keep the McFamily in your prayers...after a wonderful weekend spent with our dear friends the Miles family at Derek's show in Clearwater, we returned home to a nightmare. Our only son was hurt very badly by an extremely vicious pitbull. The good news is he saved a one year old little girls life. He is out of surgery and resting as comfortably as is safe. Please be kind and keep him in your prayers, a Mother could never have asked for a better son,he has always been so brave and kind and helped every step of his life in the care of his older Sister Heddy. the first words he said to me were "Im so sorry Mom, I hate to see you cry, but the baby ..." apparently , he came to the rescue of his neighbors. Their family pitbull had turned on them, instantly breaking the young Mother's arm (while she was carrying her baby). The baby was flung across the room. The Mama's wrist bone was perforated clear through by the dogs fangs. Kevin Jr was at their home helping with one of their cars, and was able to reach the dog just as it was pouncing on the baby. Jr has always been blessed with speed , strength , heart and the hands of an Angel. He got to the dog , grabbing it both hands , forcing it to turn its wrath toward him, while the baby's Aunt scooped up the baby. Baby never suffered even a scratch. Please keep Jr in your prayers Peachies...He will be ok, if worse for the wear, will update when we know more. God bless xoxoxo Ca

I can't wait for "Please Call Home" to be released after reading the comments from BDOB and Hophead. It sounds like it will be a moving experience.

Sending lots of love and good wishes to Deb's mom, and to Deb, too. The love from all of these people on the GB works I can assure you! Nic, so glad to read of your good report! Hang in there, my friend, and we will beat this thing together. If a little preventative chemo is what you need to do, embrace it as a healing force for your life, and you'll be OK. Sending lots of love your way, too, bro. Many thanks to all of you - again - for your love sent to me and my family. We are on the homestretch now, with 2 more weeks of radiation treatments and then hopefully some time off for good behavior. When I have a bit more energy, I will give a more full report on everything. Finally, I would have given anything I have to be in Macon last night, but I was there in sprit with those fortunate enough to go. Many thanks to all of those who have survived the road that goes on forever and made the film possible, and especially to my friends Kirk and Kirsten who have done so much for so many of us, and all who help preserve the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band and their history. And to Mama Louise, for a lot of things - I and a million more of us love you! Peace always, Willie Howard (from Mayberryetta, a suburb of Hot'lanta)
