Hophead, now we all know why JNB and Vicki had such big smiles on their faces passing thru Macon earlier today. Not to worry my friend. Derek will be gracing the stages at Wanee Fest next weekend, then back in your Atlanta neighborhood with Carlos Santana at Chastain Park on Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th. It's First Degree sensory overload on the music scene regarding April 2008. Hallelujah Brothers and Sisters!!

You lucky dog! I hate you! Let me guess ... you were in row R ... I only wish I were there, too. And don't tell me you're going to the slide guitar clinic tomorrow -- I just can't take it! Especially if you're going to be in the front row ... I love Savannah. I love the dTb. And I used to kind of like you, too, JNB ... Give Vicki my love!

Just got back from a wonderful DTB performance at the Savannah Music Festival in the beautiful Trustees Theatre. It's been since NYE that I've had my fix and I have really missed hearing these talented artisit in a live setting. I think they have only played a couple of gigs in the three months since the Fox. However, the good news is that the time off has been great for their creativity - lots of writing has been going on! In fact, the first two very fine songs were new ones that had their debut tonight. Here's the setlist: 1st Set Get What You Deserve I know Get Out My Life I wish I knew Blind Cripple and Crazy My Favorite Things 2nd Set Soul Serenade w/Dabashish Bhattachaarya Vol. Slavery Sailing On I'll Find My Way For My Brother Leavin' Trunk Anyday w/Kristina Train Encore It Hurts Me Too JNB

I see Steely Dan just added a 5th show to their mini beacon run congrats to them probably my 2nd Favorite current band. Congrats to them. That should but them 2nd place in history behind the Allman Brothers Band for Beacon runs.

My oldest Tee that still exists is a shirt I bought during the Enlightened Rogues tour in '81 I beleive. Now between the hundreds of washings and that fact that I've definitely gone from a large to 2X in the past 27 years it would look more like a tank top than a tee, but it will never be thrown away. My younger daughter pulled it out one night as she likes to steal my tee shirts for pajama tops and when she put it on she remarked "Gee Dad this almost fits me, there is no way you ever fit into this shirt"! Ouch!! I pulled out the old surfing shots just to remind her that her chunky old man actually had washboard abs back in the day. My wife chimed in with a sweet comment like "Yeah, you think I ever would have fallen for a fat guy, only now I'm stuck with one". Brutal honesty is sometimes painful.

How about "Still Shakin' Your Peaches After 40 Years" inside of a peach on the front- of course its peach colored too - and maybe list all former and current band members on the peach tree branches on the back of the shirt - maybe their faces on peaches on the branches - just a thought

Hey there sweet family, TanDan and Jack are absolutely right 🙂 The "Never Trust Any Band Under 30" Ts were made for the Peach Corps for the ABB's 30th anniversary. I've got an idea for one for next year too 🙂 Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Randy, I've got that shirt, I think it's 1999. Aurtographed by Derek and Mr. Betts. Never washed it after Dickey signed it, wish'd I had bought a dozen! Derek signed it for me during Music Midtown 2000, Dickey in July after being let go by the band. What a gentleman he was; I got to go on to his tour bus. I miss the Man In The Hat.

Randy, those "Don't trust a Band Under 30" tees are from 1999. Still have mine & was wearing it this week. I remember the year as I had not seen an ABB show since '91. I went with another Randy ,who was at the very first ABB show I saw in '72 ,and we both wore that shirt to the show.He managed to score seats 5 rows from the front, nice way to get back into the ABB live. Lucinda Williams opened and first time seeing Derek Trucks live...met my friend Wally French and his buds for the first time too.

Randy, are you talking about the grey tee shirt Lana did for the website? I still have mine and wear it often, but like some other classics, I am afraid it is wearing thin!
