Here's the DTB setlist from last nights Boston show: Get Out Of My Life I Wish I Knew Blind, Crippled, & Crazy Done Got Over My Favorite Things 😀 Up Above My Head There was also one newer song but I don't know the name. Unfortunately, Derek didn't sit in with Santana but I think part of it was because Carlo's had his nephew there and was giving him plenty of exposure, saying he went to the Berklee School of music here in Boston several times! That's fine and all but WE WANTED DEREK!!! From the sounds of it, I think later in the tour ya'll will have that happen!!! I'm sure of it! Wonderful crowd reactions and I think it was close to sold out with just about a full arena even for when DTB hit the stage promptly at 7:30 for 45 min. Oh, Santana was good too... LOL! But I really was there for DTB...:megacool: Met up with a few GB'ers. Heath, Newt&earl as well as an oldie who hasn't been on here in awhile, Mikeshy I believe is how he spells it. He said he'd been to those sweetie's parties in NYC and mentioned TerriB and Jacquie!!! 🙂 small world as Mike now lives in my home town! Cool!

Ol brother Luke's B-B-Q cooker got a test run yesterday as he cooked up some vittles for Mr. Dickey Betts and company for their show last night in Tampa. Dickey called him and said I'm in the mood for some of your cooking so Luke met the challenge and cooked up a tasty dinner for the band and friends.......... Those fires will be hot again next week as we prepare for WANEE with some food for the soul. Every day now brings us closer to WANEETIME............

Good afternoon all:-) Woke up this morning feeling fine...;-) The sun is shining, no clouds, springlike weather - 8 celsius or 47 fahrenheit:-) Started the day with coffee and Elvin Bishop on the stereo - Raisin Hell album. "I'm strutting my stuff y'all" Makes me in such good mood 😉 Wishing we were going to Wannee now, i can feel the joyous vibes 🙂 I guess we'll settle for the Hayseed Dixie consert tonight...not the same but still fun:-)

Actually, I DID rock out tonight! I saw the reunited Bluegroung Undergrass play two magnificent sets at the Moon Shadow Tavern in Tucker, GA. The music made my heart sing, and there were a number of beautiful ladies there, as well -- including MotherTeresa, Barb Potter, and Donna Hopkins. Tomorrow I'll be at Bhojanic's for a Donna Hopkins Band show -- I'll be there with my kids, but it wouldn't break my heart if some of the same ladies I saw tonight were there as well.

To the fine gentleman Bird71 and all the Rest of You Here . . . . There will be enough Brothers and Sisters at Wanee to make it the best ever and chances are very good that the legendary Levon will be doing one of his most memorable performances ever. Bob Dylan, seldom saying much about fellow musicians has been quoted to say that "Levon Helm is one of America's Great Heroes." And for those not familiar with Georgia borne and bred singer/songwriter Randall Bramblett who was a key player with Chuck Leavell and Sea Level during the Capricorn Music Era, keep your eyes on the keyboards and try to be at The Mushroom Stage for his Friday Afternoon performance. WANEE ADRENALIN IS BUILDING .... AND HOPHEAD ROCKS!!
