I'll never forget, in '04, at the Beacon, not thE first night, but the 1st Thurs (after Tuesday's 'warmup') when they opened w/Mountain Jam - I was so friggin' happy!!! And then the 1st Gilded Splinters (I believe). Anyway, the world is always a much, much better place when the Allman Brothers Band is on tour. And, Terri, good guess, in light of Gregg's health. That one gets me EVERY time. I remember Easy Michael describing the first time, at the Beacon I think, they play AWTNM very late in the 2nd second set...when the crowd sort sighed a collective 'YES'. They can play that one every night as far as I'm concerned. ...Raise our children in the PEACEFUL way we can...it's up to you and me, Brother... 😎

Geez...and I have to wait two more months for the ATL dates to roll around. By then they'll be tighter than a frog's butt...and that's water tight!

Leon, my guess is "Ain't Wastin' Time No More" I got a call from Sari and heard a group of very happy peachheads in the background; spoke to a Birthday Girl and the HTN guy. Everyone sounds sooo excited...I can't wait 'til Friday! Happy Trails to the Allman Brothers Band. Give 'em hell and thanks for going back on the road. We  you!
