Willie Perkins I Think mentioned the FPC gig in No Saints No Saviors - they flew from Burlington Vt to Rindge in weather that was not airplane friendly -
they couldn’t pay me enough for what those guys went thru to grow the band

Lana - Regarding The Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue, my in-laws live in West Lafayette, right across the street from the football stadium. That theatre is on campus and my wife has been there. She said it is a very nice place. I'll have her ask her dad what he knows about it and the history.

I like sharing "on this day" ABB shows for several reasons. Not the least of which is that even after all this time, there is often new info to be discovered and added to the ABB shows database. For example, the shows today in Lafayette, IN were listed as being at Purdue University. I did some research and learned that they were at the Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue University. Little things. 🙂
