I'll say this about Red Dog....if you you don't want to hear the answer....don't ask him the question....he'll tell you the truth. I hung out with him for a few months back in the late 70's when he came back to Macon from Alaska ( I believe). He always was upfront and rightous. A goodhearted and honest soul.
That said I know that after 30 or 40 years some details can get fuzzy but the big ticket items are sharp and clear.
Bluedrummer, I know how difficult this must be for you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Lana & Rowland for kick-starting this site. Because of you, many people from all over the world have joined together in fellowship and enjoyed more than a few hours of happiness. That's no small feat. You're definitely Top Ten list worthy to me!
Thanks for keeping the living room an inviting place for us to hang. The web is a huge place, yet so many people end up coming back here. Some get called cheerleaders or brown nosers simply because we *choose* to keep it kind and positive. Are we all perfect? No way. But most have the common courtesy to wipe dirty feet at the door when invited in.

Safe travels to all heading to Denver, unfortunately once again we cannot make the trip. Don't know how I thought we could with the Shelbmeister heading into his freshman highschool year on Tuesday and lots of football this weekend. OMG !! He's a freshman, where does the time go...seems not long ago he was such a little boy cruising to shows with us, he was only 6 !!!
So no Denver for us but Epstein's mother did give me a note to go to Michigan today for tonights show :burnout:

It is truly sick and dispicable for a genuine brothers fan to talk about the only original gutarist left in this great band as if he were just the past, as if he is not playin' great licks anymore, as if it is impossible for him to come back into this band, no matter who did what to whom.
And those who choose to flame a genuine brother...RD...for recounting his experiences in this great band should be ashamed at yourselves as well! We should all feel priveliged and respectful he is taking his time along with Trucks to share with so-called fans!
I will not move on as is described, until all these guys are dead horses...which I hope is a long time from now!
Yes, I am living for the future!! Betts & Trucks owe it to the all the new fans to try and recapture that one-of-a-kind magic that made this band what it is today!
