dsvepro - I would not count on other ABB members sitting in with Jaimoe's band. I saw them open for Gregg & Friends and there was no cross-pollination. I wouldn't let that deter you though as Jamoe's Jassz Band is amazing in their own right - world class talent on stage and great songs. Get their latest studio album if you don't have it. One of the very best ABB side project albums ever made.

I was happy to do it..i know how many of us wished we could go there to give them a hug and tell them how much they are loved.. It just worked out that Dana and I could be there physically.. it wasn't just Dana and I in there.. it was ALL of us..OUR family.. no brown site , no blues site.. ALL of us.. as one

One day you bop by the site and its brown versus blue blah blah blah same old BS and then the next day its Lefty being a truly good man and people talking about lifting up others and I realise why I come back here day after day. I'm not one of the "core" folks but it reminds me that I don't just love the music, I love the people especially the Beacon runs in which I've been lucky enough to partake. But it is not just the ones I've met here. The spirit of the band and the music has attracted basicly good people with a positive vibe, and a high percentage of them are kinda wild fringe folks that are my kind of people. Prayers to Nic a HUGE atta boy to Lefty and God bless all of you out there in ABBlandia.

I am not a religious guy but about a month ago one Sunday morning I was channel surfing and came across Joel Osteen giving a sermon that I have not been able to shake. In one sentence it was "don't let others take your joy". It seems easy to be negative and down and in the past I would let people around me pull me down - essentially taking my joy. I am sure in doing so I also pulled others down with me. Now I am trying hard to do just the opposite. There are so many things to be thankful for (including this damn band that we all love so much) and it seems such a waste of our limited time on this planet to dwell on the negative. I am looking forward to meeting some of you in NYC this March and perhaps work toward establishing the true friendships that many of you have with Nic. Fellow Buckeye, while we have never met you and your family are in my thoughts.......which are full of joy.

From Pam's facebook page 🙂 I have always believed that angels are in our midst. This has been so evident in the last few weeks as Nic has been in the hospital at OSU and at hospice in Dayton. Yesterday God sent a true Angel to us in the form of our friend and musician, Lefty Collins. He drove 6 1/2 hrs to see Nic and me. God sent him on a mission, and he answered the call. Of course, he brought his guitar, and played and sang lots of our favorite Dickey Betts songs. Also known as Allman Brothers tunes. Four hrs of visiting and music. After 2 days of sleeping, and not conversing much, it was great to see him responding and singing along, tapping his feet, and clapping. Don't know how we could ever thank Lefty enough for this gift. And he wasn't alone. There were a whole lot of our peachy friends here in spirit. Can't mention them all, Sari, Danny, Terri B. Paul, Heidi, Judi, Helen, Nancy, etc. Etc, etc. , and Dana Clouser in the flesh. Thanks, also to that special lady, Lee Ann, who shared her man. Thanks to all of you for your love and support, but especially to the Messenger, Lefty Collins. Love you guys. Pam and Nic.

You all need to read Dickey's guest book so you know what Lefty did. Bravo my man, bravo!

Thank you Phillybob 🙂 Drives me crazy when people trash people when they/we ALL have flaws. Butch works hard, never gives up and gave us that couldn't be at these shows a true gift - many, many hours of shows we would of never been able to see! I will support his efforts always and thank him for all he's done for the fans. It makes me sad to think his children, grandchildren and friends that love and know him may read this kind of stuff. What is really important is that we all continue to keep Nic and Pam in our thoughts and prayers right now. Until we get to be together and see each other again, I'm sending love and cyber-hugs to everyone today 🙂
