Conratulations to y'all who obtained tickets via the TicketsNow scalper service. Enjoy the shows, but know that you're supporting a company - a MONOPOLY in this case, who screws the fans of the Allman Brother's Band.

I'm still in shock over how much I just paid but I am positive it will be worth it - it just now puts buying tickets for Dickey's NY shows out the window -

For contrast, go back and read Duane quotes and all the concern he had about playing for his people. Dastardly Pondering: If TM on that Tickets Now Self Scalping Service sells good seats for 900 or whatever...... does the appearing band get the same cut as if on a $150 regular price sale? If the band gets no more additional $, I will be indignant for the band. If they do, then I'm confused.

I decided. I'm done with this. You can buy seats from ticketnow for $200+. BUT EVEN FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF THAT ASS-REAMING, YOU HAVE TO PAY ASTRONOMICAL SERVICE CHARGES OF $40 PER TICKET PLUS SHIPPING. So, anyone want to buy to upper balcony seats for the 3/20 show?

I'm conflicted - know this is a small thing in big picture but had really been looking forward to today's general sale answer a dream for 4 Middle Earth ladies. Make that conflicted and heartbroken... 🙁

Yeah, I was hovering over the computer starting 10 minutes before the tickets went on sale. As soon as the FIND TICKETS message came up I started trying for tickets. THERE IS JUST NO WAY IN HELL ALL THESE TICKETS WERE BOUGHT LEGITIMATELY IN 10 SECONDS!!!

So it isn't just me. Logged on at exactly 9 cst. Can't get a single seat for 3/21. This is just a blatant hideous rip off. Guess I'll cancel my arrangements also.

Has TicketMaster not taken note of the recent economy? Do they really think that people have $165.00 (est) to pay for seats in the nosebleed sections? I URGE A COMPLETE BOYCOTT OF TICKETS NOW!!!! As much as I love the Allman Brother's Band - I hope they end up playing to a bunch of empty seats! We working folks just don't have this kind of cheese to spend on concert tickets. GRRRRRR!!!!!!
