I applaud your efforts, that was more a cut at Senator Chambliss than anything. I would imagine he hasn't been to a concert since Lawrence Welk stopped touring.

How are robber barons supposed to make a living if you keep sending letters? Isn't a joy enough to know that your hard earned dollars go to taxes I can avoid paying? Isn't it cool that the service charges on your tickets are more than the ticket itself?

Patrick, I sent it to him too, as well as my US congressmen. Do you think I should send it to President Obama? Or should I stand around and do nothing and continue to take it from behind from ticketmaster? Maybe the stars will align the next time I am purchasing tickets so that I can get good seats to a concert I want to see at face value.

DancingRhonda wisely pointed out to me that their is a group on Facebook "1,000,000 against Ticketmaster" (unfortunately they are only 2,500 strong now), I joined and posted this over there in hopes of reaching others who are ready to act, please join this group if you are on Facebook...numbers matter.

Ryan, PeachNutt and others - thanks for putting your actions where your mouth is! You've set a very fine example here! We can ***** and moan about TicketMaster or we can take the fight to 'em! Y'all are to be applauded for doing something besides talking about the problem. My own letters have been sent - time for all of us to line up and face the enemy!
Thanks y'all. Remember that you can easily email your politicians so if is just a matter of looking up their websites, copying and pasting, and changing a few names and you are done. Not a great deal of time and effort is needed and hopefully it makes a difference.
