Hey there sweet family, :fanfare:Welcome home, Whafry!! ((W)) :fanfafre: Bos', that was a historic reference: "Kilimanjaro chief Stuart Galbraith and K2 agency boss John Jackson are launching a new U.K. festival at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, England, in August. The two-day, 50,000-capacity event is called “Sonisphere” and will feature Metallica and Linkin Park. Promoter Galbraith and agent Jackson are believed to be close to naming more acts. It will be the first camping rock festival the well-known Hertfordshire park has staged. Since starting with The Allman Brothers Band in 1994, it has hosted major open-air rock and pop concerts including Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Genesis." Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

I don't recall seeing this among the birthday greetings today. If POLLSTAR is reliable, they report this in an e-mail today: "Kilimanjaro chief Stuart Galbraith and K2 agency boss John Jackson are launching a new U.K. festival at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, England, in August. The Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Genesis"

Bird!! Happy birthday Tony. You need to make it down to Wanee this year. Tony traded me my first ABB live show back in 1999 (1998?). Back in the stone ages before Moogis, Instant Lives etc. Still have to mail those ABB audience recording trades though! Hope you have a good one.

Thanks, aw shucks.... Look forward to seeing a bunch of you guys in the big city in March.... Reading a book this morning about the making of The Basement Tapes and that time in Dylan's life, after the infamous and mysterious motorcycle accident.... As Dylan put it: "Sitting around one night under a full moon I looked out into the bleak woods and said, 'Something's gotta change'. There was some business that had to be taken care of." And I think that is a fitting thing to read on a birthday morn, so to not feel aging, but brave and the opener of neverending doors.......
