Quick update from dutchoneill: Just heard from Chuck..he is in Rehab, making strides on the road to recovery, hates where he is. But he's not in the hospital anymore.

Lucille's is a cool room and lefty and the band are easily seen from any angle in the joint...If you have never been to see lefty or lucilles...go on in...you don't hear "Free" to often

Just a note to say for the 12th year somebody got shot during mardi gras in New Orleans, but it wasn't me. Got to see the dtb put on a fine show sunday night--mike was on crutches because he hurt his ankle exercising, or something like that. also shook hands with pete fountain & saw sets by amanda shaw, kermit ruffins, vette (look out for them), bonerama (GREAT horn band!!), big al carson & a little bit of cowboy mouth...all on the same day--only in new orleans!! however, I don't think I will be going back until I can figure out how to take a bicycle with me--too much walking & waiting for the bus to come by.
