hey now.....looking forward hooking up with ya all. Rooming with Wally French, should be blast. Have we arranged a pre-party for Thursday or Friday yet? I am open, I am sure Wally is to, to hosting a casual get together in our room at the Milburn. Will not be as good as the Sweeties party's of the past but heck it may work.

Agree Frim!! Epic Shows...these are amazing musicians at the TOP of their game whether it's been 40 yrs or 40 days, the performances have been TOP Notch. 😎 Another side benefit of Moogis...is the fact that I can get my guitar plug in (not too loud) and 'play' along a bit. I sound amazing w/this band right now! (Actually, I sound beyond horrible, but it's fun as sh!t when I do struggle around and find the right key the song is in). Go Moogis!! That sucks Woody - sorry to hear that.

Woody, sorry to hear that. You should try to get a second opinion. Usually the HD is recoverable, even after a crash. I had a similar experience a few years back with a Dell laptop and was told everything is gone. Took it to another tech and everything was recovered.

So yesterday I can't get onto the computer when I got home from NYC and they tell me it is the mother board, I tell them to fix it. 6 hours later they inform me I lost my hard drive and none of the data is recoverable OMG this is a disaster. Of course the family has been WAY too lazy in regards to backing up critical data onto the remote drive. Lost a huge amount of pictures and irreplaceable stuff. Totally heartbroken. Oh yeah, lost 9000 hours of I-tunes. Anyone know if there is a way to import your IPod back into I-tunes? This will take years to recover, not to mention the thousands of hours I've purchased from the I-store and not have lost. S%^t, I just can't seem to get a break this year. I hope to have a replacement in place with the wireless etc. reestablished before the weekend so I can, at least, enjoy Moogising this weekend's shows.

Had Moogis going last night, but was doing 10 other things, trying to get ready for our NYC trip this Thursday. When I heard Desdemona come on, I was glued to the TV, as I was during John Hammond's songs and Bonnie's. Bonnie was wonderful and so was her daughter. I loved Only You Know & I Know. Was dancing around the living room. Great to hear Come On In My Kitchen. Such a shame we lost Delaney so recently, but it was a nice tribute to his legacy. Frim, I was talking to friends about the Last Waltz similarities. These shows really have that feel. Fortunately though for us, this isn't their last waltz.

I Love Bonnie, she is truly a rock star. Remember when she was on Rosanne with David Crosby playing her husband and they started singing in the backyard at a cookout.

Wow, another gem from start to finish! How do they do it night after night after night? Most bands are lucky if the can play 20 songs really well, our guys have already played close to 65 tunes and they have all been miraculous. And it's all for Brother Duane...and make no mistake, it's also for the great fans of The ABB (aka the extended family). I have a feeling this magic they are bringing to the stage will extend right through the summer tour. They are a well oiled machine that can't be stopped and all the dates they are playing this year can only mean more and more gems. One correction on last night setlist that Frim posted. "Desdemona" was played right after "Come and Go Blues" so it should look like this. The Allman Brothers Band Beacon Theatre NYC March 17, 2009 Set 1 Statesboro Blues Don't Keep Me Wondering Hot Lanta Who's Been Talking Come and Go Blues (nice!) Desdemona! So Many Roads, So Many Trains (w/ John Hammond) Shake for Me (w/ John Hammond) Cryin For My Baby (w/ John Hammond) (Set Break) Set 2 (Bonnie Bramlett on stage) Oncoming Traffic (Just Bonnie & Gregg) (Bekka Bramlett and the rest of the ABB return to stage) Coming Home Only You Know and I Know Come On In My Kitchen (John Hammond back out on stage joining Bonnie and Bekka) (Bruce Katz to the Piano. Susan Tedeschi out as well) The Weight No One Left To Run With Encore: Preachin Blues Jessica> JaBuMa> Jessica Goodnight....

Hello Fans: Just got back from a walk on this lovely spring day in South Alabama. Dogwoods blooming as well as the flowers. Perfect day. Turkey gobbling. Ain't the Moogis the sh*t. I watched all the shows thus far. Watching the first set of last nites now. Only saw 2nd set last nite. All of the shows have been great. Some better than others. It depends on what ya like. Some missed cues and vocals here and there but who cares. The playing was spot on. I guess my fav's have been: Little Martha's Boz Scaggs Loan Me A Dime Buddy Guy The Sky is Crying. Sat's Woman across the River The extending Statesboro/Blues. Rocking Horse/Gamblers Roll. Don't Want You No More/Cross. Whipping Post. Not to say that some of Derek's, as well as, Warren's Jamming has not taken me there. It has. My Fav as well. I have loved it. Great tribute to a Great Man. DUANE ALLMAN. Thank you Duane ! Wish I had made NY City but could not because of the homefront stuff. Aikens ad I will be at Wanee. Aikens and I will do our 32 annual this Thursday. Every Spring since 1977, we hit the woods in March and have a litttle party. It ain't quite as heavy as it was in the early days but still fun. Peace to all and all of you at the Beacon have a blast. I am just watching and listening.
