Missed everything Last night including ABB show...Sick kids...I turned down tickets and missed Lucille's....I was on the couch with my daughter early this morning....and we saw a Biography on Cher and they showed some live duets from "2 the hard way" I think from an English show...I would like to see them in full length...any suggestions?(i'll check youtube but I like to own stuff)...My regards to all you lucky people who got to chill all night... to the Brothers and then Lefty.
Whew...close call. Dave and I were planning on going to the Beacon for Saturday's show. One thing lead to another and Dave had to cancel out. At 9 pm last night and even later I was still planning on going. No problem at all getting from DFW to LGA. Today, the hassle would have begun. 91 people on the standby list from LGA to DFW on the 1st flight out. I suspect I wouldn't have made it to work tonight and Dave...brudder we escaped a king sized hassle.
It was a pleasure to meet you TYLER and to share in the enjoyment of the music and friendship between us all!
...Good for you for making your dad stick around until that later train! :0)
What a great day and night!
:waving: Janet
Great show at the beacon tonighs the juke horns were the highlight of the show for me. Every song they sat in on, the same thing, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Ect, was amazing. And After the show me, P-Nutt and momma P-nutt headed over to B.B.'s to catch some of Leftys set, it was incredible. I was talking to my good friend Effie there and he said to me "you can really tell how many hours Lefty has listened to Duane" and I said, "I've listened to Duane for hours and I still suck". But seriously Lefty you were shredding that night I really loved what I saw. My dad wanted to catch a 12:37 train home I made him wait till 1:46 I loved listening so much. Plus the HTN party was great and the Gin mill after. Jamioe's Jassz Band was great too, who knew Jr. Mac could play like that? Thank You to everyone who was involved in the making of those "Support Tyler" bracelets, they caught me completely off guard, I'm still in shock. I knew that you all love me and care about me but that displayed it to me in a whole knew way. Thank you all. I know that having a brain tumor should make you miserable, but with the help of the alllmans, my family and your powerful healing vibes (plus maybe a little bit of some other vibes) I can honestly say I had the time of my life today. Thank you all again.
Another very enjoyable show. I can't say enough about Moogis. I'm loving the guests. Some have fit in better than others but all have added to my fun. And the band seems to be having a blast.
Hop, thanks for recomending that Sierra Nevada Torpedo a few weeks back. I've enjoyed two sixpacks with my Moogis so far. Can't wait for Monday.
