Wow the old grey guestbook ain't what it used to be, no posts in a week. Anyway thought I'd throw in a quick concert review. Saw Brian Wilson and Jeff Beck Sunday night. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable evening. Brian is fried, there is no two ways about it. I'm not sure if he actually played the piano once and his voice left much to be desired. However Al Jardine and David Marks sounded great and as long as Brian stuck to the lower registers he was fine. He had a kick ass 12 piece band and everyone sung. The harmonies were stunning. Lots of favs and some pretty obscure stuff as well. Jeff Beck was amazing. He tone and virtuoso playing is just over the top. He did a amazing redition of a Mahavishnu orchestra song (Birds of Fire maybe?) but it was killer. He had one of the most talented bands I have ever seen. Every one of them were amazing. Came back together for a finale of Danny Boy/Surfing USA.Everyone had a blast. It sounds like a wierd combo but beleive me it was a great evening.

Greg Allman Band
Hi Folks.
I just joined the site, and checked with the moderator on this.
I have a lovely Bed and Breakfast just ten minutes from Greg's Nov 2nd tour stop in Keene NH, at the Colonial Theater.
If you want to contact me through the web site www.tartanfox.com and mention that you are seeing the show, I will be offering a 10% off for the night. You can come in early, get situated and then head to the show.
This is the first and last and only time I will mention this. I'm not here to spam anyone. I just wanted to offer to the faithful a nice place to stay at a discounted price. Been a fan for years, and love to be able to give back something to the community.

Not sure about Floyd Miles playing now with Gregg. He was part of Gregg's band in early July but he is not now listed on Gregg's website.
