Hey Nic, how did you do Walleye fishing? Where did you go? I hail from northeast Ohio, Conneaut/Ashtabula area...my stepdad (just turned 79) is a recognized expert perch, walleye and trout fisherman in the area. He fills many a freezer every year, including mine...and I live in Florida now... Anyhow hope you had a great time chasing those walleye.

Hey Now!! I just got home from ten daze at Lake Erie in quest of the Walleye. I just stopped by to attempt to catch up on some reading and ran across the post from my Good Friend and Sister Of The Road Carol. Pam and Jake came to the Lake Friday and told me We had received a package from the McDonald Family and continued to tell me it was the Enlightened Rogues Record. I enljoyed looking at it upon our return and we spoke of our Goodtimes with Kevin & Carol. We also laughed at looking at a picture of such a young Dangerous Dan Toler. And then I read the post of Carol running into Danny and speaking of me. It is no secret how much I Love both Carol & Danny. It sure brought some Goodtime tears to my eyes. Thanks so much for thinking of me Carol and your act of Kindness. It gave me a warm feeling in my Heart. Thanks so much to Jody and Frank for the anniversary card!!! I was fishing on our 35th anniversary!! I took Pam out to a fine Japanese Streak House last night. I am so very fortunate to have Pam in my life. She sure helped me get through some tough times this past 35 years. I Love her very much. I initially stopped by to encourage anyone who is able to reach out and lend a helping hand to Captain Skipper and his Wife Sherry. I had a nice phone conversation with Skip Friday and he is very appreciative to say the least. I was actually riding on my golf cart to go out fishing when he called. Please help if you can. To echo the words of the old coot, no contribution is to small. I hope everyone has a Safe & Goodtime Week. Peach.

I just stopped by to say Hi to everyone in between house painting, rug cleaning, birthday shopping for daughter's friends etc. Last night the fifteen year old broached the dreaded "there is a boy I like and how soon can I go on a date"? Of course the answer is NEVER!! I guess it is time to dust off and prominently display the 30-30 with sniper scope. Getting close to ABB @ the Greek. Scotty, Sheep, Dino, ya gonna be there? As I was unemployed when tickets went on sale I only bought one night (Wednesday), now I'm bummed. I'm hoping seats in the first 10 rows through Premier club but it is hit and miss, sometime the seats are great and sometimes so-so. Have a great rest of your Sunday, Celtics loose, Lakers win - crappy start to the playoff for me.

hey, it's 6:30 eastern & I don't know what you guys are up to late on a sunday afternoon but if you go to nola.com & click on "French Quarter Fest webcast: Watch the Pavillion Stage live" you should be able to catch a set by new orleans band bonerama pretty soon. you can see the mississippi in the background behind the stage--bonerama is a pretty cool band, they are fronted by 4 trombones (only in new orleans!) & on a good day they cover "whipping post" when they feel like it. check it out.

Best of luck to Vicky. Congrats on just qualifying for the marathon. My wife Denise ran the Santa Cruz half marathon this morning. Record heat out here this weekend, so it was a rough final few miles for her, but she made it right on pace, 2 hours for the 13 miles. I'm out of breath after running 13 yards. Went over to archive.org and there is a great recording of DTB last week in Chicago, with a horn section. Very nice 14+ minute version of Afro Blue on there.

....ran into Danny Toler last night... ...just as we came off the bridge on our way home , there was Danny walking down the street...Moments later he was jumping on stage (PG Block Party) jamming with friends.. Punta Gorda is my town....I walked back stage (Much to the chagrin of the Babtist church body guards) ..next thing you know, got a big ole bear hug, asked him how Brother Frankie is doing...Danny sounded very positive, good news...said Frankie was doing well... managed to bring a twinkle to his blues eyes, told him how the Enlightened Rogues lp fell into my hands last week, and was on the way to someone dear to both our hearts... Please remember to keep the Toler family in your prayers...Ca

Got my "Already Live" from that independent record shop, Amazon. In DC, Melody Records only has CDs, the other two shops listed on the website actually have vinyl but concentrate on world, new rawk, and hiphop. nice try on this but the wheel keeps turning...like the buffalo only a few (record shops) left.
