Prayers to Randy and his mom. Also for the folks in SC. Being from California we experience these disaterous fires just about every year. If a fire is anywhere near follow the firefighters orders and get out. Good luck to all.

The fire is at North Myrtle Beach in the Barefoot Landing section. The House of Blues was used as a shelter for those that were displaced from the fire. The wind changed the direction of the fire inland. There are some roads still closed but HWY 22 has been reopened. The latest has the blaze being about 80% contained. We have some Peachies living in that area. I know that Dan is in the south in the Murrell's Inlet area. The people affected by this fire need our prayers.

funny story..last night, just before we were about to close..all hell broke loose in El Jobean.. I mean to tell you, sirens, police, ambulances, firetrucks..one after the other... The "bomb" turned out to be an old fishing tackle box that fell off some old boys truck....Ca

A belated :birthday: to David Stoltz. Hope that your day was a special one. Randy is another of the kind gentle souls on this website. It must have something to do with that Alabama water. Randy, I'm keeping you close in thought and prayers during this time. This is not a path that you are walking alone. We are with you. (((((HUGS)))))

I had heard there was a state of emergency in S.C. and then I heard something about a fire. I was just watching the weather channel. My father was from S.C. and we went to Cherry Grove every year for vacation.

They may need these other shows that are driving distance to Atlanta such as B'ham and Knoxville to finish their intitial sales before putting on tickets for the Fox or something else in Atlanta. I'd love the Fox and would also dig another back to back nights at Chastain.
