:birthday: Luke and belated :birthday: wishes to Jacquie, Eliot, Marley and everyone I missed. (no doubt there were a few, sorry) Have a safe & happy Memorial Day and thanks to all our vets for your ultimate sacrifices. I witnessed Rolling Thunder roaring down I-64 on my way home earlier this week. It was a site to behold. I pulled over to honk and wave as they passed. There were some kids on an overpass with an American flag draped over the railing in their lane. Tears and goose bumps for sure. Have a goodn', LoveNPeace, Carole

What a week I had! I was in the hospital with pneumonia and a rapid and irregular heartbeat. I got home last night, after having a procedure called Cardioversion. It seems to returned my heart to its normal self. I'm on a few meds and feeling much better. I see I missed a few birthdays a such, best wishes to all the folks who's birthday I missed. Mitch

A loud and heartfelt THANK YOU to all those vets out there, current and past. Your sacrifice has allowed us to live free and express ourselves in our own way. God bless each and every one of you! Went to a kind of funky little local event yesterday, the Topanga Community Faire in Topanga Canyon. For those of you that are unfamilar with the Ca. lay of the land, TC is a little town in between the 101 (Valley) and 1 (beach). An amamzing mix of old hippie pot growers, french fries, militant vegans, gang bangers and the uber rich. Everyone gets along just fine and Blood Sweat and Tears were the highlight band. They were not bad, although the David Clayton Thomas clone was a far cry from the original. Thet did thier hits, a couple of blues and jazz tunes as well. A simply georgous day though. 78 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and a beautiful sea breeze. A perfect afternoon.
