Thank you all for the bday wishes! Thank you to Krishna for the special bday muffins too! i had a good time at Wanee this year, though i felt a little lost without my sidekick with me....the SOS is near and dear to Lane and I and not having him with me was a bummer but i managed. Thank you to Warjag, Peachjam, Scott and Krishna for keeping me safe and secure up on the hill! Terripan Tom, Steve, Rebecca etc.... you are all soo damn cool its scary. highlights of the weekend for me included Hill Country Revue - they were the "rose hill drive" of this years festival.....Grace Potter did a fine job as well, though i was a bit confused about all the new arrangements on songs that i thought were great to begin with - i hear she is workign with Tbone Burnett so that might explain some stuff. she did kick butt! i'll have to admit that the rain was a pretty big bummer; i spent far too much time in my tent which i started to think of as "My pineapple under the sea" since i felt like Sponge Bob all weekend. other highlights included a HUGE attendance at the DTB show....very good show and worth the cost of admission x10 for me. peace and good vibes to one and all.....good to see everyone last weekend!

Some good new music: "Living in the Light" by Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters. You can't go wrong with Ronnie. Also, for something a little different, try downloading "Diarabi" by Boubacar Traore (CD=Mariama) from iTunes. EAPFP Hope to see ABB in Tampa, but it's not looking good.
