12 years ago tonight I was sitting in the Beacon watching the first of my three shows for that trip ... during the break after the first set I looked around and spotted Sang, so I went over for a chat. We were just discussing the rumours regarding Clapton supposedly sitting in on a show sometime during the run when out onto the stage walks a guitar tech carrying a pale blue Strat ... at that point we knew we were in for something special in the second set ... and we certainly were!
