I was at this show. I recall Mudy opening and the Brothers not being all that inspired. Just not a great memory. I do recall the arena was not completely finsished asthetically so as the earlier posted said it was the very first show ever in that building.

I was at this show, which was the opening night of the venue where a few years later, several people were killed at a Who concert as 18,000 people were channeled in through two glass double doorway entrances. It was, of course, Festival seating. My date was almost trampled going in, and if my friends and I didn’t form a circle around her and start throwing elbows, the worst would have happened.
The show was about what you expected from ’75. Opener was “Don’t Want You No More> Cross to Bear”, and “High Falls” was by far the standout, and I remember a strong “Whipping Post”. Also an extended drum duet during IMOER when a roadie or some other flunky took the mike and asked id “Dr. C.O. Kane” was in the audience, because he was needed backstage immediately. They had, thankfully, dropped the one-guitar version of “Mountain Jam” by this time.
Muddy was, as always, the consummate professional. Gregg managed to thank him very profusely and respectfully at the end of the show.
