I just found my pictures from this concert. Awesome. I posted on Facebook and even Duane’s daughter posted comment.
Kevin thanks for the memories of this show.
I was in the 8th grade and attended concert with a group of friends. We sat up front right in front of Gregg and Duane. Country Joe McDonald and local band Humor opened the show. Humor keyboard player Scott Maclellan (heir to Provident Life Insurance Company) later built Pyramid Eye Recording Studios on Lookout Mountain where Reach For The Sky was recorded. Humor bass player Jim Stabile was later Engineer on that ABB record. I actually took great photos of concert but these have been lost over the years. Concert was great but I have no memory of a set list. ABB band members then went to Mr. Natural’s on McCallie Avenue and partied the night away. I later got to be good friends with Twiggs prior to his death during his Dixie Dregs days.
