Hey, I was a senior in high school in Pittsfield MA, bought tickets for the show early Oct, I was the most exited kid on the planet, I’m gonna see Duane Allman!!!!!!!!
Duane died, I think it was the 3rd show after the funeral, pretty gloomy show to be honest, though it was still great, seen them 8 times since as well.. I was telling a friend tonight, I’ve listened to the Fillmore East show I’m guessing 5000 times and still love every lick!! Rock on Brother Duane!!
Wet Willey opened for them that night..
