I was there. 17 years old, my Dad let me drive his ’69 Dodge Charger to San Francisco to hear this band I had heard on KSAN FM radio. I was completely blown away by the show. Went home and “Live at the Fillmore East” was the very first tape I ever bought (8 track). That recording has always been my absolute favorite and I still listen to after 40 years
