There’s an interesting moment on this tape during LEAVE MY BLUES AT HOME. The band’s playing starts to disintegrate, and eventually the music stops altogether. The totally pissed-off MC starts yelling at the crowd for throwing mud onto the stage and disrupting the band. Something like this wouldn’t happen today.
By the way the Love Valley tapes would make a great archival release. They are similar to the Atlanta shows but have a character all their own.
