Could someone please tell me what I could buy that would be the closest match to the old Fuji CD-R's that were made in Japan? I've been told to get JVC Advanced Silver CD-R's but I figured I'd get a few different opinions first.- Thanks

you can get JVC Taiyo Yuden blank media made in Japan (both premium line which I buy, and value line).

I use these at work to back up data and at home to burn shows on. Never had a coaster in over 10 years. Unlike other media, you can rest assured the stuff you burn on these discs will work when you pull them out later.

Not sold in any stores. Same prices as in store but worlds better.

It will say JVC Taiyo Yuden because the companies merged so you were on the right path.

supermediastore has everything you need at great prices. just look for Taiyo Yuden. The best media made. The cds look like the old fujis with the frosted inner ring which is their trademark.
