I am looking for advice on upgrading what I use to record shows. I have a portable DAT with mini microphones. Not cutting it for sound wise and also people seem to bump into me and recorder turns itself off or someone will knock over the recorder if I I have it stored in a tote bag.
The recorder has to be something that is small enough to not be decteced if I stick in jacket pocket or in a tote bag. So setting up mics on a tripod is not an option.
