Advice on recording live shows.

I am looking for advice on upgrading what I use to record shows. I have a portable DAT with mini microphones. Not cutting it for sound wise and also people seem to bump into me and recorder turns itself off or someone will knock over the recorder if I I have it stored in a tote bag. The recorder has to be something that is small enough to not be decteced if I stick in jacket pocket or in a tote bag. So setting up mics on a tripod is not an option.

Digital HD TV + Analog stereo question??

Bought a new Samsung digital HD TV. Hooked it up to go through my Kenwood analog stereo pre-amp to play the TV through the stereo. Is this a good idea? Can you have a digital TV going through an analog amp and stereo. Not sure but I don't think it sounds as good as when I played my analog TV through the same analog stereo.

Need some advice. My old pc got zapped by a nasty virus, cryptowall . Basically locked up my pc for ransom and encrypted every file. Had a computer friend working on it and was basically told, get a new pc. I had most everything backed up. Not all so my loss. Need advice on getting anew one, operating system, virus protection, basic music downloading info. Hate to see my old pc go, had it set up nice where I knew how everything worked. Thanks in advance.
