Let’s stick with studio songs, because live can go down a billion roads.

1. Long As I Can See The Light. So awesome. So awesome. And that first vocal line of the final verse after the solo . . .

2. Old Time Rock and Roll — kinda goofy song, but MAN I love that solo.

3. It Makes No Difference (Band)

Can’t think of more off the top of my head but thought of this because I heard Whitney’s “How Will I Know” tonight for the first time in ages and never realized the sax solo in it before.

I'm sure there’s some Springsteen that belongs, just don’t really listen to him much.

It's interesting but not sure if it's accurate. Seems to be.

When Gregg died in 2017 Celebrity Net Worth listed Gregg Allman worth $18 million dollars. Dickey was on the site as worth $40 million, Jaimoe at $2 million and Butch Trucks in the negative.

The CD booklet notes quote Tom Dowd noting that he used a different Dickey Betts solo on this set for the Liz Reed. To my ears, Dickey's solo on this set sounds exactly like the one from the original AFE album. Anyone have any info? Are the notes wrong or was the CD changed at the last minute?

I Could Use your Help

THE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO DECEMBER 8TH DUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT WITH THE VENUE.
For the last two years, I have been having some severe medical and financial problems. After a series of very hard falls, I have been unable to work and am now looking at being a homeless ward of the state at the end of December. I havehad an 8 section laminectomy (C2 to T2) to prevent me from becoming paralyzed and chair bound. On October 1st, I had a total left knee replacement. I still need to undergo a year long series of infusions to raise my bone density in order to have a new procedure they have developed to restore my lower back and be able to walk again.
In true Nashville style, my many musical friends(I am blessed beyond my worth) have secured the use of 3rd and Lindsley (thank you Ron Brice, owner) to host a fund raiser.
As of this afternoon this list includes (and will grow)

Etta Britt
Charles "Wigg" Walker
The Jack Pearson Trio
Lee Roy Parnell (dependent on date change)
As we establish a link for contributions, GoFundMe account and more artists, I will update it here.
I'm only hoping to be able to supplement my $100/ month Social Security to the point I can pay my necessary bills and keep a roof over my head,

I've made a number of performance improvements for the site on both mobile and desktop. I haven't changed the Forum at all so you may or may not notice an improvement here, but the rest of the site should load faster. Sometimes speeding things up introduces bugs, so let me know if you find one.

We just finsihed a site refresh. Main updates:

Updated look and feel
New homepage and simplified nav bar
Full bios page (Band) with band lineups per era
Improved layout for Discography (Music), News, Photos
Login at the top right, and once logged in that is a dropdown for your account and member stuff
Links for available albums added to appropriate show pages

Let me know by PM or post here if anything needs a fix. Should be good on phones, tablets and desktops.

Hi, I’ve been a big music fan for 50+ years. I feel very lucky to be in the right place at the right time to see them four times.
My primary hobby is collecting live music. I have every circulating Jimi Hendrix audio file. I have 90+ SRV, and 25 Allman Brothers Band shows.
I have turned my attention to acquiring audio for shows I’ve seen. So far I have 7.
I would really appreciate adding this show to the short list of shows I saw.

Hi, I’ve been an Allman Brothers fan since my friend Doug loaned me a copy of Dreams, cd2. That was in 1990. I have been lucky enough to see them four times. Of course all the shows were awesome!

I have been collecting shows I’ve been to for maybe a decade and have 7.

I would really appreciate a copy to add to my collection-

I posted links to the entire Crossroads 2026 shows, Day One & Day Two. But they're really long, and in case anyone missed it, here's Billy Gibbons & The BFG Band's entire scorching 25 minute set from Day One. Bill Murray says it all: "The cool has entered this building." I couldn't agree more. BFG includes Chris Layton (SRV's Double Trouble), Drums, and Mike Flanigin, Bass and Vocals. I've watched it several times, just can't get enough.......
