When any nation builds concentration camps to use on their own people and practices military exercises, like Jade Helm, and passes the Executive Orders that have been passed, people should realize their land is not what it once was. Personally I do not understand the need for the Fema Concentration Camps, just shoot people with the drones, why drag them into the camps to do it there? Yes, the guillotine is a big and scary looking device, unlike a nice comfy warmfuzzy electric chair. No method of execution is pretty.
Personally I would prefer the clean, efficient reliability of the guillotine to the potentially complicated and messy options, such as the electric chair, firing squad, hanging, lethal injection, drawing and quartering, the wheel, burning at the stake, iron maiden, keelhauling, walking the plank, crucifixion, and so on.
Even your preferred method, the Taliban-style bullet to the brain stem, while a step in the right direction, is not as foolproof as the guillotine.
I must say, though, that your Islamic pals' stoning method, while possibly the most emotionally satisfying for the executioners, is the worst of all, and doesn't quite square with your sudden concern over humane capital punishment methodology.
Perhaps the biggest drawback to the guillotine is the visual aspect. It is certainly true that the guillotine is not for the squeamish, what with the horrifying spectacle of heads rolling, blood spewing, and last-minute displays of emotional distress by those awaiting execution. For cosmetic improvements, I would suggest a housing to hide the blade dropping, and vacuum chutes for the blood runoff, and an enclosed chute for the heads to roll into a truck. The people could be loaded onto a conveyor belt in a private location and sent through a tunnel to the apparatus. Then the bodies could be rolled into the truck as well, for transport to a nearby Purina facility to be converted into a Soylent-type protein wafer to feed the hungry.
These upgrades would reduce the shock appeal of the day in and day out process, and prevent a bloodthirsty crowd circus from forming, as occurred during the French Revolution, when the guillotine became a spectator sport.
More efficiency could be obtained by a multiple-blade lineup, with subjects on a conveyor belt.
You are obviously unaware that the guillotine was invented to make capital punishment more humane than hanging or death by the sword. Indeed it is preferable to an electrocution gone wrong, or a body's resistance to chemical injection.

Yes, the guillotine is a big and scary looking device, unlike a nice comfy warmfuzzy electric chair. No method of execution is pretty.
Personally I would prefer the clean, efficient reliability of the guillotine to the potentially complicated and messy options, such as the electric chair, firing squad, hanging, lethal injection, drawing and quartering, the wheel, burning at the stake, iron maiden, keelhauling, walking the plank, crucifixion, and so on.
Even your preferred method, the Taliban-style bullet to the brain stem, while a step in the right direction, is not as foolproof as the guillotine.
I must say, though, that your Islamic pals' stoning method, while possibly the most emotionally satisfying for the executioners, is the worst of all, and doesn't quite square with your sudden concern over humane capital punishment methodology.
Perhaps the biggest drawback to the guillotine is the visual aspect. It is certainly true that the guillotine is not for the squeamish, what with the horrifying spectacle of heads rolling, blood spewing, and last-minute displays of emotional distress by those awaiting execution. For cosmetic improvements, I would suggest a housing to hide the blade dropping, and vacuum chutes for the blood runoff, and an enclosed chute for the heads to roll into a truck. The people could be loaded onto a conveyor belt in a private location and sent through a tunnel to the apparatus. Then the bodies could be rolled into the truck as well, for transport to a nearby Purina facility to be converted into a Soylent-type protein wafer to feed the hungry.
These upgrades would reduce the shock appeal of the day in and day out process, and prevent a bloodthirsty crowd circus from forming, as occurred during the French Revolution, when the guillotine became a spectator sport.
More efficiency could be obtained by a multiple-blade lineup, with subjects on a conveyor belt.
You are obviously unaware that the guillotine was invented to make capital punishment more humane than hanging or death by the sword. Indeed it is preferable to an electrocution gone wrong, or a body's resistance to chemical injection.

Why Was the Guillotine Invented?
The guillotine was invented to make capital punishment a humane experience, as opposed to the horrors of the tortures of the wheel or the stake, the unreliable beheading by sword, or the infamy of hanging.
But there was another revolutionary aspect to it, and that was equality of the death penalty. Beheading, usually by sword, was considered a privilege and reserved for the nobles. The average criminal was hung or worse.
With the introduction of the guillotine came the abolition of privileges on death row.
The Afghan talibs use the bullet to the head, because it is fast, effective and does not inflict pain on the person who dies. The Pakistani talibs do the stoning. I watched a video of one of them, it was terrible. Stoning originated with the Jews. I do not like the electric chair, nor do I like lethal injection because that is not a peaceful death, they use two drugs, one of them paralyzes your respiration so you cannot breathe, and you suffocate. Suffocation takes a full two minutes to kill you, what do you think the body goes thru during those minutes?
I know from surgeries the body is well aware of what is going on while unconscious. I even woke up from one surgery in the recovery area while I was screaming "pain, pain". I felt it even though I was unconscious.
I do not think the guillotine should be used because God said he put the parts of the body where he wanted them, which means that mankind is not given the authority to change that, cutting off peoples heads is changing that, and also makes it very difficult for whoever may have to see or deal with that body later on. Why do that to people?

To each his own, I suppose. Personally I would trust the guillotine to do the job in a safe, effective, and humane fashion, over the possibility of the Taliban Brain Stem Bullet, which may be ok 99.9% of the time until the merciful Talib Afghan misses for some reason, and there you writhe with a partially severed C-spine because the executioner was distracted by a nearby little boy, say, or burped up some falafel cooked in rancid oil, or any number of things.
As for the Jews inventing stoning, I think you just have a chip on your shoulders about Jews, and besides, the Jews gave up stoning a long time ago. It seems as if Islam picked up a lot of the bad religious habits that the Jews discarded thousands of years ago.
While God may want all the body parts intact, that doesn't seem to fit the common practice in Islamic countries of removal of hands for stealing, clitoridectomy, and whatever gets dashed to bits or shredded in the stoning process, eyes smashed to pulp, the occasional ear smote away, or anything else that passionate race elects to sever with their scimitars.
Aside, I suppose God is ok with haircutting and fingernail manicures? I know the Rastafarians take to heart a biblical injunction against using comb or razor.
Then there is the issue of bullets. When you are doing away with millions of people, that really would require a lot of ammo with the Taliban Brain Stem Bullet method.
Gotta say, for all-around efficiency and cost-effectiveness the guillotine seems like the better option. Besides, we are talking about the USA here, the majority of the people being executed won't be Muslims, so the God-body-parts-intact issue really doesn't matter that much, they could save bullets and use them on the Islamic minority as a special religious option.
