I’m all for his re-election. We’ll continue to contest him and shut him down through checks and balances, and then after 2024, the Republican Party will have dug their own grave.

LOL yeah, I don't take any of it too seriously - but I must say running to the warden to report infractions was some weak snitch action, especially from a free speech '"just walk away" type. Fortunately since the states decide who their electoral votes ultimately go to, they can choose to do what a number are attempting to codify in their individual state law and give all their electoral votes to the individual who gets the most actual votes nationwide.
I'm not sure we'll ever get there in what are currently swing states, but there's hope...

The “but corrupt Hillary” line was a genius move by Trump. Trump knew his fans would be hesitant to vote for his hostility and racism, even though they liked it, because they were afraid of the repercussions.....so Trump gave them the perfect alibi for justifying it......”but Hillary!” And it worked.
I haven't heard Hillary mentioned anywhere except the WP since the Women's March back in early 2017. Oh, I did see a headline that she officially wouldn't be running in 2020 as if anyone on Planet Earth thought that was a possibility.

The fact that they parrot Trump with his nicknames like Crooked Hillary show how little thought they give to anything. Whatever Trump says becomes a slogan. No thought necessary. It's a scary world we live in.

Isn't the Electoral college essentially already a population contest?
People have been migrating to cities from rural areas steadily for decades. Sooner or later, those small electoral votes are going to be completely insignificant unless the vote totals are close. Landslides, the smaller states have no effect outside of just piling on.
