As long as his posts were basically generic nobody really cared if he had used multiple logins.
It got to where he was downright abusive to everyone.
I kept waiting to see if a "gun control" thread came up and he would post about the police mental health check again. Then i would know for sure who it was.
I actually gave him a warning reminding him of a poster (BoytonBrother) that had recently been banned due to harassment of some posters.
Maybe, just maybe, this will be a wake up call to other posters who are getting close to his level of vicious posting of what can happen if their posts get out of hand.

I agree it was more the abuse and not the multiple names that got him booted. The multiple names probably did make the decision to boot easier though, less tricky grounds.
Changing your name here is allowed, I did it, wrote to the webmaster and requested a new user name in 2012. Multiple accounts is not allowed - most websites will boot you for that.
If you are politely referring to me on the "wake up call" , I would counter in my case that my calling out the troll did us all a favor.
I did not enjoy getting fired up like that and singling him out, it was my worst display on here in ten years. I was really pissed off at that troll. The reason I almost bailed was not him, it was because of my reaction, that neither I nor anyone else needed to hear - except him.
The same day I posted that I was backing off the troll doubled down - he was paying attention.
If I had just played nice and kept quiet like you and Stephen asked and Nebish backed up - he would still be here. I respected you and Stephen and did back off, then he pissed off others. I watched this interview today and have come to the conclusion that IMHO, any person who votes for this man is not doing out of support for Joe Biden and his beliefs, but has settled for the position of the "Lesser of two evils" which is understandable, but a dreadful way to attempt to move this country forward.
I find just the basic thought of the two major parties out of the WH at this time in History to be a daunting task. Perhaps we could start with the voting OUT of ALL incumbents who've held their seats in the House and the Senate for more than 2 terms.....

There are 328.8 million people in the USA of which 128 Million voted. 65.8 Million voted against the President and I will wager a good percentage did so because they wanted a woman in the WH. What we need now is a reputable 3rd party candidate. It seems that right now the "base" of each party will vote for their candidate even if he is a demented, lying, knee-jerk, womanizing, probably knows where a lot of Clinton era bodies are still buried, anti-Constitutional, can't keep a long term thought process going, died in the wool party hack.
Probably stuck right now with the two party race, and won't see any headway against that until people not from Dem and GOP are elected to the House and Congress.
Probably won't even get that until some local and state offices are filled with those not of Dem or GOP alliance.

My breakdown on that is for me Biden is less politically evil, as Trump is useless. Also I support many things that fall into the Dem camp, most importantly women's rights and its sister concern health care, and this paradigm shift .
However, when it comes to Evil with a capital E, actual evil - Biden is way worse, the system is written all over his face. Same as Clintons, Obama, Bushes, Reagan, all phony as hell, smelled like brimstone.

I would love a viable third party. I really think we need to break this system. Not sure that can be done without revolution (real revolution)...how many of us want real revolution, we talk about how bad things are and there is real pain, real suffering, real inequality out there but if the solution to that is real revolution, how many of us are willing to try and overthrow the government for that? Unless it personally effects us, how hard would we push for real change? Not hope and change, real change? Bernie? Even that isn't real change, put Bernie in the WH and you still have Republicans and Democrats running the corptocracy in Congress (or I mean the corptocracy running Congress). So we just fall in line and vote D or vote R or maybe we're a 1%'er who knows there is no chance in hell our third party vote stands a chance...I like to think back to what if we had Ross Perot elected, could he have gotten through the electoral college? What would that administration looked like?

Establishment Democrats won't ruin the party. Establishment meaning, status quo, corporate, neo-liberal. Newsome I think is kind of a "tweener". If a far left candidate like Sanders or Cortez were to lead the party into the White House that might make for the right recipe.
