Here is the complete video, moment in question comes at 3:30 minute mark.
It's just one moment in the video, but just Joe being Joe. Trump is out there being Trump so it's not like either one is going to be picked for a debate team anytime soon.
it's not like either one is going to be picked for a debate team anytime soon.
Ain't that the truth, some "choice"....
The nut and bolts is the video link, so watch the youtube video link instead of the clip to get context.
Q - "We talked about Trump saying the government would reassess the recommended period for keeping businesses shut and people at home, are you at all concerned as Trump said that we can not let the cure be worse than the problem itself?"
A - "We have to take care of the cure, that will make the problem worse no matter what".
Reassessing will not make anything worse, it is just assessing. Lots of assessing needs to be taking place on a lot of topics. Assessing does not "make the problem worse no matter what".
In an isolated event, nobody probably even notices it. But when it is Biden, you are just waiting for him to mess something up. Then with Trump, he messes up so much you are just waiting for him to get something right. Sure will make for interesting Presidential debate moments.

I have said on this site about Joe Biden "he would make a fine President". He has the resume, he isn't likely to drive anything off the cliff, I think he could probably drive the ship. But he is showing his age much more this election cycle than I thought he would and I am genuinely worried what his capacity will be 2 years or something into his term. Biden, 5-10 years ago, he's always had these kind of moments, but now it seems to be accelerating and more common.

Would you consider it honest to use a new username on a website and conceal your former username? Strikes me as dishonest. When I changed my username here early on I had Rowland delete my first account, then I told folks about it - I didn't come creeping back under a different name and keep my old account.
What is your opinion of this kind of behavior?
It seems really strange - do you agree?
I did the same thing years ago. A few people have; spacemonkey, sibwlkr, to name two. Not sure it mattered much or matters now. BTW, there's more than one person in this thread who has done that and I've got a good idea what uname he used before.

Read Joe allegedly stuck his fingers up inside an Aide. The timing is almost as interesting as lack of media coverage? Also read the alleged victim went to a non-profit for support/help and was told they couldn't do anything cause Biden was running for Federal office. The kicker is the organization employees a woman who is on Biden's paid campaign staff.

Come on man, grow a set.
More so skydog32103 than ABBGMTTB imo - skydog’s posts read A LOT like muleman1994’s used to - insult people, then the “deal with it or STFU” posts when called on it - haven’t found the new all caps person’s posts to be offensive

There's another theory afloat...
COVID-19 is impacting every aspect of our health care and economic systems.
Despite this, Joe Biden is now saying he refuses to debate Bernie Sanders on these important issues. Scott, we are going through a national crisis, and we deserve leaders who are willing to engage.
Hiding out in Delaware isn’t going to cut it, Joe. Lives are on the line, and the American people deserve a debate.
Add your name here to demand that Joe Biden stop hiding and agree to debate Bernie Sanders in April!
I wouldn’t add mine, the debates for the most part don’t amount to a hill of beans
Agree w/Joe that “we’ve had enough debates”
Where's Joe ? Latest FOX News poll has him up 49% to 40% on Richie Rich the stubby fingered, draft dodging, orange tub of lard.

The same polls that had Hillary winning by a landslide?
Joe could prove to be an effective stay-at-home campaigner, setting an example at the same time during the virus
Posted it b4 - the virus’ arrival could easily play into the hands of the Democrats as a political asset in the election
Would just depend on how much of the electorate buys into the “It was Trump’s fault” theory

The same polls that had Hillary winning by a landslide?
The same poll that had Dems taking the house. Orange county is Blue. The suburbs of Dallas and Houston. Trump will do for the Republicans what O did for the Dems. When polls told Trump what he wanted to hear during the primaries he couldn't shut up about polls. When the polls tell you what you don't want to hear ? Like so many people you say don't believe the polls. Are they infallible? Of course not.

The Dems took the HOR in 2018 because the same people that gave Trump the benefit of the doubt in 2016 now have buyer's remorse (caveat emptor). The voters in the last prez election saw the foul mouthed outsider as some sort of fresh face as an outsider. Even though he had a track record that goes back many years of bankruptcies, stiffing contractors, etc., people gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now he has a presidential track record of failures and despicable behavior as a human being - someone who has failed at a national disaster, called it a hoax, and battling with governors of states where he wants them to "be nice with him". We see his failures in foreign policy and tossing our intel agencies aside instead taking the word of a dictator. He was impeached for horrible actions in the Ukraine and only let loose by a senate of GOP pu$$ies who were afraid of him attacking them. He calls the press the enemy of the people...maybe a term that fits him better. Then there was Charlottesville "good people on both sides" where he was reluctant to confront white nationalism for what it is because of that faction's support and his identification. The list goes on and on.
This fall will be a mandate on him, his actions as president, and whether people want 4 more years or worse of him, it, and this.

The same polls that had Hillary winning by a landslide?
The New York Times published a front page above the fold poll on the Sunday before the 2016 election day that Hillary would win 93% of the vote.
Just another fake poll by fake news.
Sadly some people actually believed it. Those people tend to be the some ones whose mind is owned by fake news.
Bald faced lie

When Trump stood on the national mall on the 4th of July and said " Washington crossed the Delaware and then he secured the airports and he did what he had to do " was that evidence of cognitive decline or just 180 proof dumbassery ?

Reminding us that both the President and his "chief rival" are mere simpletons, is hardly a stamp of approval.

Acknowledging Trump's mental capacities! A good first step!!

Did you see that I referred to them both as "simpletons"?....Is this the best the Democrats can offer?
"Well, Biden is bad, just not as bad"?
Where are the real leaders?
Where are the real leaders?
I guess they didn't have enough money or invoke enough passion, or elect-ability, in the early primary voters. The field was so wide and varied, with enthusiasm, and in the end it falls between a couple of old white guys. Everyone got scared Bernie was going to win and Biden wins one state and those everybodies rallied behind Biden, who was essentially left for dead after the first 3 primaries/caucuses. It is a pretty surprising road to this point.
Although in fairness BigV, would you call any of the other Democrat candidates "real leaders"? Maybe you can humor us, policy aside, who from that field would you put in the "real leader" category?

"Real leaders"...Emerge very rarely in Presidential politics, some are eloquent and articulate orators (President Obama comes to mind immediately), some are elected after Military successes (Grant & Eisenhower) while others run and are voted into office on name recognition alone (Bush Jr.). In this cycle? On the Democratic side, I was impressed with Congressman Gabbard from Hawaii. Is she a "Real Leader"? No idea, but she became the Democrat I would have been the least uncomfortable with.... And to be fair and honest, I would place former V.P. Biden at the bottom of my list. Plagiarism, an inability to remember where he is, what he was addressing, providing non-factual information about his education, his age and most recently, his being called out by Kamala Harris on his position on Busing in the 70s. Think what you will about President Trump, but come debate time, do not think for one moment that Joe's past will not be brought into the light on a debate stage for all to see. People who live in glass houses..... It is at that time when the public will be forced to choose the lesser of two "evils" and that is an unenviable position for voters to find themselves in.

The voters deal with the hands they are dealt. In the 2016 prez election the GOP had many candidates running in the primaries. The same goes this cycle for the Dems. In the end, voters pick between primary choices and then between the 2 parties. It's really not so complicated. How voters are influenced and make choices is another discussion. The operative word here is "choices". And if one doesn't like the choices from the 2 major parties, then they can choose an independent or write in if they want. With that said, I doubt this country will ever elect an independent or a write in.
BigV made it clear he thought Trump was a fool during the campaign. He is from the Hillary is Worse Than Armageddon school.
The lesser of two evils.
Worse Than Armageddon school
That would be correct and you appear to think the very same of President Trump.
There ya go.
