Really, the only question is how long Trump can hang on and whether Pence takes over or goes down with Trump. While his popularity is very low, the districts that are in play for House and Senate elections in 2018 are, like all districts, extremely gerrymandered and thus could remain in Republican hands even with Trump proving daily he's unfit for the presidency.
Now, if dems come out in force and some repubs vote merely to get Trump impeached regardless of the candidate running against their representative, then yeah, Trump could be in trouble.
i have to say that i personally believed Sessions testimony. the russian ambassador has some kind of relationships with some people in Trumps circles. it is entirely plausible that Sessions would bump into him.
now the parts about him not knowing anything at all about Russian meddling in our elections i find....lets say, troubling. that no one at the DOJ is looking into this is a problem, so is the head of the DOJ having no knowledge of it. if his recusal is the reason then maybe he's just not the right guy in charge there. we need to be proactive to these russian intrusions.
