Had mostly the traditional southern lunch. changed from Hog Jowl to pork chops, black eyed peas with onions, new potatoes, and chocolate lasagna.

Gonna have cornbread, collards, left over peas w/onions, and pepper sauce for supper.

Need that folding money and change.

I made lasagna, chicken Parmesan, marinated mushrooms, roasted artichoke hearts. Started with an antipasto of olives, cheeses, roasted peppers, prosciutto. Made clams casino too.

Bought the cheesecake. Topped it with melted dark chocolate and strawberries.

Gained maybe 5 pounds. 😛

Heh heh. And that was for 10 people. No small feat. Man, I cook almost every night. Next "major" one; Valentines Day. My gf loves seafood so I'm starting with a lobster bisque, then some scallops in garlic and butter, fried whole clams and baked stuffed shrimp.

Light a candle, open a bottle of white wine.

Boom, I'm a hero.

You're not invited. Grin

Peanut butter & jelly sandwich after a nice New Year's Day hike with the hubby.

I was pretty tired of cooking by then. Smile

Reheated breakfast because I was too hung over to eat it the first time.
