What A Wonderful Man Elon Musk Is

Per CNN this morning, that supposed mastermind of the U.S. economy, Elon Musk, has now requested of Trump that he pardon George Floyd's murderer, former police officer Derek Chauvin. They had Floyd's brother on the show, who said, "After they pardoned the January 6th rioters, nothing surprises me." Obviously Chauvin's pardon remains to be seen, but considering Jan. 6th, it wouldn't surprise me, either.
As much as I feared a second Trump administration, I never, ever thought we could get this low.

Really disappointing but not surprising, I don't see that ending well. I think it's intended to antagonize. The administration is also trying to help Andrew Tate, an unapologetic rapist and human trafficker, get out of Romania back to the US. Ironic considering how they portray many illegal immigrants who are just trying to build a better life. Maybe they are trying to solve illegal immigration by making sure no one wants to come here.
These are old racist white men born into incredible privilege. Not only are they breaking services that took decades to build without a solution, they are helping out their own deplorable human stains. With all of the talk about leaving things to the states, they can't even leave alone the decisions of a jury. I'm not sure what all of these people who were on the fence in October thought was going to happen.

Was it just the "something to think about" post or did he have more commentary on this.
I will take the outcome of the trial rather than a podcaster's or youtuber's opinion. The judicial process may have flaws and warts at times, but who is Ben Shapiro, or am I, who are you to question the process. Does Chauvin not have an appeals process? This is a huge part of the problems in our society, too many people look to question the authority and legitimacy of our institutions and processes and then they get a platform and the message gets legs and nobody trusts anything anymore.
I'll have a different take, if we put to death a person like Derek Chauvin post trial we wouldn't have to worry about some appeal to pardon some 5 years later.

Ben Shapiro is racist trash and not whom a President should be getting advice from on any topic.
The death penalty being inhumane, let the appeals process run out. Chauvin was convicted of Second-degree murder, Third-degree murder, Second-degree manslaughter - none of which are capital crimes in any state that carries the death penalty.
Which reminds me, SC is spending $50K to figure out how to shoot a human in the heart indoors. The 21st Century ain't what we thought it'd be.

Yeah well what Chauvin did was inhumane. Get rid of him. Can't believe they can't figure out how to shoot a guy in South Carolina.

@vtab: Yeah, that's got to be the most shocking aspect of them dismantling USAID, that it stopped sending a simple and cheap concoction to Third World nations (mostly in Africa) that was the only thing keeping starving children alive. It was a substance made of peanut butter and milk. A child can live on that if it's all they have because both ingredients have very high nutritional value. I was SHOCKED when I heard the shipments had been halted.
In the interest of full disclosure, they HAVE reinstated the manufacture and shipment of this product (Thank God for THAT). But the fact that it was interrupted in the first place is strong evidence of how indiscriminate the Trump/Musk mandates really are.

Yes, but that doesn't mean the State of MN should also be inhumane.

I saw a podcast recently conducted by two African Americans ( I won't link it because of some of the language) and apparently George Floyd was a habitual small time criminal and drug addict. He was trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill when the store operator called the Minneapolis police on George.
Apparently that is true from what I was able to find on line.
But a small time habitual criminal and drug addict didn't deserve to be treated that way.
It triggered this insane "defund the police" movement which is damn dangerous!!
When I need a policeman, don't send me an unarmed counselor to see if he can defuse the situation before the men with guns and handcuffs are called.
That defund the police BS is just that!! BS!!!!
Far left AND far right dream worlds are not where the country is. Most are like me. A little left of center or like my neighbor across the street, a little right of center.
The January 6th rioters who destroyed government property and injured police officers AND these violent protesters who are firing bullets into Tesla showrooms, setting Tesla cars on fire and throwing paint on them.
Both sides need to be in jail!!!! Lock 'um up!!
