John Coleman is a hack journalist with zero education in any of the sciences. So he started the Weather Channel, so what? A used car salesman doesn't need to know anything about cars, a restaurant owner doesn't need to know how to cook. A US president doesn't need to know anything at all.
Think I will start a cable station so I can pretend to be an authority on the content it broadcasts!
I deleted the Weather Channel from my phone because they were caught selling user location data without disclosing it ......

Plus it is from 2014 ...... the founder was only with the company 1 year - over 30 years ago ...... he produced no evidence to refute anything.... just stated his opinion ....

Let's assume this entrepreneur actually knows something about weather simply because he recognized the market potential of a 24 hour television station devoted to, well, 24 hours of weather content....Does that mean he knows anything about climate?
I'll give you a hint, Goob, weather and climate are two different things....Related surely, but TWO DIFFERENT THINGS...

They have to be the opposite of liberals, no matter what. It's in their party platform.
Plus they are funded by the fossil fuel industry.
As 2112 mentioned, the fossil fuel industry owns the Republican party lock, stock, and barrel....The Koch Brothers alone have such control of the party it makes any effort at acknowledging climate change impossible...Add in the vast number of other industries that are carbon based and, well, we get the Republican party we know today...

No doubt about it the Dems take lots of carbon money too....But they also know climate change is real and certainly support government initiatives to wean ourselves off of our carbon based economy over the long run.

They are always trying to prove that criticism of them isn’t justified. When Obama spoke, he made them all look so small and silly, and they felt it hard...like when a kid gets caught by their parents and they feel ashamed because they know what they did was wrong.....same thing wih these types. Their shame makes them point the finger back at Obama. Every time Trump mentions Obama’s name or repeals an Obama policy, he is expressing the shame he feels in comparison to Obama’s character and popularity.
