I have nothing to compare it to, I've never lived anywhere else, it's all I've ever known and it's been overwhelmingly Democrat forever. What other conclusion can one come to?
That because other Democrat-run states thrive, that Rhode Island's issues are probably complex, and have little to do with whether the leadership is Democrat or Republican.
