But "rank and file people are great". Was Comey or McCabe targeting these defendants rather than some handful of the other tens of thousands of FBI personnel?
From the little I have read in this case I hope these pieces of shit charged have the book thrown at them assuming they are found guilty. Seems there is strong evidence against them. Playing the 'FBI was out to get them' card is probably their only chance, and a weak one at that. Jury selection process allows members to be eliminated if they show predisposition one way or the other. I question those certain juror's thought process and intelligence in evaluation of how the FBI conducts criminal investigations and anti-terror efforts. Unfortunately we have too many people who don't think for themselves.
It was bound to happen. All this attacking of the FBI was a dangerous and selfish game that may have widespread repercussions well beyond the Whitehouse. I fear that this case will be like OJ all over again, with the investigators attacked to raise reasonable doubt.
