The One China Policy is Red China’s policy. While The U.S. recognizes that it is their policy it is clearly stated in the U.S. recognition that the U.S. has six stipulations one being that the U.S. recognizes Taiwan as a sovereign nation.
The United States also has a treaty with Taiwan that states that we will defend Taiwan in case they are attacked.
Diplomatically it would have been rude for Donald Trump to have not taken the call.
So the corrupt liberal media is all screaming about what they see as a “terrible mistake” by Donald Trump. Of course in all their “reporting” aka writing opinion pieces, they don’t mention the actual U.S. policy and do not make the distinction noted above.
