Actually, he may be the first modern candidate to tell it like it is about the state of our country on topics like immigration, economy and trade.
Has he given any specifics on how he will create jobs? Is he going to continue the war in Afghanistan? What's he going to do about our crumbling infrastructure? Anyone talking about improving our educational system? Our kids are dead dog stupid compared to the rest of the industrialized nation.
Does he have solutions or just spew problems?

Yeah because generalizing that all Mexicans are criminals and rapists is really telling it like it is.....we really need a face palm emoticon on this forum.
+1
There are at least 3 lies in the letter he posted this morning about Macy's (shared here, see post on previous page), does that count as "telling it like it is"??

Not only does he spew problems, but he is a problem for the GOP. He is nothing more than a narcissist on the national stage satisfying his bloated ego with serious contenders. In a way, one feels bad for those contenders who are serious. No one really expects Trump to deliver specifics and offer solutions. I really doubt that's his game plan. Look how long it took him to announce before he alienated voting blocks as well as major businesses and corporations. Does anyone think he can right his own ship? If he can't do that, it's laughable to think that can be extrapolated for an entire country & leader of the free world. Watch as time moves forward, and the DT campaign slowly melts away.
As to the original post, the one who might claim that he can "Tell It Like It Is" would be Aaron Neville; not Trump. Maybe Trump could pilfer that for his stump song...nah...like Neil Young, I doubt Aaron would agree with Trump on much.

This is hilarious:

Well said. For the life of me I can't believe how Trump supporters fall for his line of sh*t and actually thinks he's providing any real solutions or is capable of doing anything but his own 24/7 self promotion. How gullible can one be after he repeatedly pulls the same tired publicity stunt every four years?

The only reason that Bush and Trump are polling well right now is because they have highly recognizable names. The general public doesn't know enough about the other 47 GOP candidates to make any sort of decision on them. As candidates fall by the wayside and their positions become more clear, I expect Trump to fade away.

The big question is - Can the 47 GOP candidates capture Romney's famous 47% percent of the moochers and freeloaders?

Mr. Trump is doing very well in the polls within his party. I continue to support his candidacy.

The racist one's are a slam dunk, are they not?

Me too. I find him highly entertaining. I hope he wins the GOP nomination and picks Sarah Palin as his running mate.

His response to NASCAR and the PGA is one for the ages. I heard it read on the radio. but haven't been able to find it on the web to post here.
You're familiar with the term FU money? He's got it.
Here's the statement..

Wow. Trump might be the first modern candidate to lose money running for President.
Right, and you can tell how scared he is.
At the rate he's losing business it could seriously damage him......after about 200 years.

Mr. Trump is doing very well in the polls within his party.
I can tell you that one of the problems with the GOP among their supporters is that they back down much too easily. They let the media push them around and they get intimidated.
Obviously, Trump has fortitude and this appeals to people sick of the GOP folding like lawn chairs at the slightest bit of criticism.

Will he won the nomination?

Fortitude? Hardly.

Win? I'm not sure he can handle the scrutiny. He looks scared.

Wise guy.

Trump is correct, we shouldn't be some kind of dumping ground. Get selective with a sensible and reasonable immigration policy. Stop the inflow and select what we need. Take a pass on the disease, criminal backgrounds, and dead wood clogging up the hospitals and prisons. We already have enough dead wood. Start deporting the illegal aliens in our prison system and ban their return.

Here's an idea. Before deportation, pull all the illegal aliens out of prison and put them to work building additional fencing on the border to help pay their prison tab.

Tell me something. if we change our immigration policy to allow what we need in, will the ones we reject still enter illegally? And if we ban their return, will they stop trying to come back? That guy in San Francisco who killed the woman on Pier 14 was deported 5 times. How did that work out?

I think you should send that idea to Trump as he would be all over it. Been a few days since he said something outrageous to get some press so he can use your help.

All about fences tonight apparently.

Thanks. Hoover Dam probably started out as an outrageous idea as well.

This is still the United States and we can win at this stuff. We have the manpower, technology, any and all necessary assets to get the job done. That's why Trump is resonating. That attitude and spirit still means something to an awful lot of people. All that's lacking is the want-to of those currently in charge.

Tell Obama all those people jumping over the fence are Tea Partiers and you can bet the necessary steps would be taken. Bank on it.

Since it would require a huge amount of money, you, and your conservative brethren, would be whining about the cost and how it would add to the countries debt. However you would be all for it if a Republican president ordered it. (See Iraq and Afghanistan wars for proper reference).

All we need are minefields and sharks with laser beams mounted on their heads.
