It should move the debate forward if you realize your posts are not. If there were a moderator in a debate they would toss out your "argument".
Did you ever debate in college?
Whatever alloak - Have yourself a snide little focking day.

Nice job moving the debate forward. Thanks for the pointers.

This is interesting. HuffPost is going to stop covering the Donald's campaign as "Politics" and move their coverage to the "Entertainment" section.
After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won't report on Trump's campaign as part of The Huffington Post's political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump's campaign is a sideshow. We won't take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you'll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

Unfortunately, Trump will keep himself in the spotlight until the primaries. The other GOP contenders will spend much of their time condemning Trump's remarks as "not what the GOP stands for". As long as he is in the race and making headlines, it won't matter how Huffpost or anyone else covers him.

Back on topic The Donald using his charm and diplomacy to make friends and influence people again.

Trump is awesome. The Republican party has needed a good flush out for years. He knows it, too.
The only flush the GOP is getting is their chances of winning the 2016 POTUS circling the bowl and getting dimmer every time Trump opens his mouth. Do you think the GOP power brokers are really happy with Trump's media whoring making the party look foolish?

"For every one who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there who weigh 130 pounds and they've got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert." – Iowa Rep. Steve King on immigration and why he opposes the DREAM Act

Neither. Try lazy, or maybe time challenged. It would take a full eight hour day to respond to all the questions, replies, or to defend this or that. If you hadn't noticed at times literally one post after another asks me to do one of those things. I get a lot, sometimes a whole page of it.
Not that I'm complaining, that's just a fact and I don't really mind. However, I DO mind being expected to address every question, reply, and request and not doing so makes me a (fill in the adjective.) Being as it is, sometimes I have to choose what to respond to because I simply don't have sufficient time to devote to the WP to satisfy everyone's requests.
As for "cherry picking," is there some ground rule I wasn't aware of being broken here? What if that's the only part of a post someone wants to respond to? My posts get cherry picked at times as well. Do I cry about it? No.

That's funny. You don't have the time, but you are on this board most of the day.
As for the rest of it, wah wah wah. You are the biggest whiner here. You whine that you think we make the threads about you. no, you make them about you by not answering questions, swerving topics and quoting parts of posts and taking them out of context. You do this crap deliberately and then act shocked when called on it. In fact you do a lot of stuff just to eff with people and whine when called on it. You know all of this, and we all can't be wrong.

You think I care about the power brokers of the GOP? They've led the party into mediocrity, afraid to take a stand and fold like tents at the first sign of criticism. If they are upset, that's not necessarily a bad thing from where I sit.
I don't think the power brokers you speak of are that wild about conservatives in general, so I'm not too jazzed up about them either. I honestly believe they think the key to victory is to act more like Democrats, and if they do Democrats will vote for them. They've succumbed to the belief that if someone smears you enough and calls you enough names, then they must be right and it's time to back down. Well, I disagree.

2. Back to the "look what you made me do" excuse? Why not surprise the hell out of everyone and "swerve" into a thread topic sometime. Anybody can call names and make disparaging personal remarks from the cheap seats, it's not that hard. Master of the self-knockout.

"He is not a war hero," Trump told pollster Frank Luntz, who was hosting the session.
"He is a war hero," Luntz interjected.
"He is a war hero because he was captured," Trump said, cutting him off. "I like people that weren't captured, OK? I hate to tell you. He is a war hero because he was captured. OK, you can have -- I believe perhaps he is a war hero."
The comments met with a mix of gasps, boos, laughter and some applause from an audience.

The GOP debate next month is setting up as major clusterf..k. If Trump carries his current rhetoric into the debate, it'll be a cage match worth watching. Can Trump really be civil and serious for an hour and a half or two on stage with the other hopefuls? He seems to be an equal opportunity offender.

The whole system of government is such a joke now, why shouldn't we have at least one jokester candidate? Why not? I'm glad he's there. The guy is a f*cking riot.
The other candidates look like knobs, taking turns calling him out trying to one-up each other (or whatever they're trying to do.) *But Trump might damage the party* Trump isn't speaking for the party, he's speaking for The Donald. The party is already damaged and Trump is the only one with any stones.
If Trump makes it to the debates the ratings will be astronomical.

I love the Donald. He is showing what a joke our political system is.
He is also making it easier for the Dems and I do thank him for that.

Yeah, it doesn't takes stones to say that McCain isn't a war hero. It takes a completely out of touch self absorbed nitwit to say that. As long as the other GOP candidates have to respond to what Trump says, they cannot get there own message out there. Trump steals their headlines.
I think he needs to shut up and go away.

Maybe I shouldn't have said "only" regarding Donald. Scott Walker and Ted Cruz have stones.

You got that right JK. Trump is the DNC's wet dream come true. As long as this buffoon is attacking the other GOP candidates, and making irrational soundbites to get media attention, the Democratic candidates, like Hillary, can sit back and not have to address the issues until closer to the election.
it is interesting to hear how the other GOP candidates respond. Some outright censure Trump while other tip toe around him for some bizarre reason. It makes for great reality TV.
Love him or hate him you have to admit he makes for compelling watching. Sort of like driving past a gruesome car wreck. You are horrified by it but can't stop yourself from looking.

Maybe I shouldn't have said "only" regarding Donald. Scott Walker and Ted Cruz have stones.
So you believe Trump has stones hurling childish insults at his opponents and saying McCain was not a war hero? That takes stones in your book?

Eff John McCain, weasly little RINO. He should have switched parties long ago. Apparently you're
fixated only on the McCain comment. He might have been the worst candidate the Republicans have ever fielded.
No, it takes stones not to back down. Feel free to agree or disagree with his specific comments, but that's another matter. He doesn't back down, and that's a trait that still appeals to a lot of us. The GOP has become like that skinny guy in the back of the comic books getting sand kicked in his face. Too many of them have no backbone and fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Right because any Republican who actually tries to work with the Democrats for the good of the people, instead of their own obstructionist agenda, is a traitor to the party. Some sort of fuzzy logic you are using there Alloak.
Fixated on Trumps comment? really? considering this is just the latest, and most absurd and insulting, comment the buffoon has made recently it really is hard to get too fixated any any particular one of them. Just when you think he can't top his own stupidity he surprises you.
Really don't understand how you can support someone just because he blurts out any nonsensical thought that enters his mind. As if there is something noble in saying stupid insulting sh*t.
Don't get me wrong, as a card carrying Democrat I love all the chaos he is creating for the GOP. While they are all reeling from the fallout it makes it that much easier for the Democrats to win more votes from the undecided.

If Trump sticks his foot any further into his mouth, we'll be able to see his toes wiggling out of his a$$hole.
