WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a dramatic announcement from the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, Donald J. Trump pronounced the planet Earth a “loser” and vowed to make a better deal with a new planet.

“Earth is a terrible, very bad planet,” he told the White House press corps. “It’s maybe the worst planet in the solar system, and it’s far from the biggest.”

Trump blasted former President Barack Obama for signing deals that committed the United States to remain on the planet Earth indefinitely. “Obama is almost as big a loser as Earth,” Trump said. “If Obama was a planet, guess what planet he’d be? That’s right: Earth.”

When asked which planet he would make a new deal with, Trump offered few specifics, saying only, “The solar system has millions of terrific planets, and they’re all better than Earth, which is a sick, failing loser.”

Trump’s remarks drew a strong response from one of the United States’ nato allies, Germany’s Angela Merkel. “I strongly support Donald Trump leaving the planet Earth,” she said.

Trump is such an embarrassment to our country...He's worried about countries laughing at us, all the while they are doing just that. Never before have we stepped aside from leading the world...but we have and its destabilized the entire world.

He's is the most embarrassing, dangerous person we have ever placed in power. I can only hope these other countries realize his stay will be short and the rest of us who have any sense of what our parents fought for is being ripped apart

He goes to Arlington and places a riff on the graves of soldiers then walks the path he walks now to destroy everything they fought for

The sarcastic politically oriented post, made during the mourning period, is disrespectful.

Why do you think no one else has made a post here since Gregg’s passing and before he has been laid to rest?

photoron posted the tragic news at 1428.

Your post, at 1538, over an hour later, proves that you don't pay any attention to the home page and just make a beeline to your slop trough to oink and squeal, and was the only new post on WP for a long while after, except for crazyjoe, who took your bait. Then you lacked the common decency to remove your post once you found out the terrible news.

Here is what you posted, at 1538, on May 27:

The Republican won and the Democrat lost again. This is a national pattern.

The reporter was your typical corrupt liberal media a-hole and got the a-whipping he asked for.
The national press went nuts but the local Montana citizens interviewed said the reporter go what he deserved.

The only good thing about the recent tragic events is they make you shut your pie-hole for a little while. Other than your occasional silences while that hole is occupied elsewhere, busy in your Trump daisychain I suppose.

Nobody gives a sh*t what you say. So just STFU.

So now Trump plays guitar, and has turned into a Democrat?

If I was worried about your spelling i would have corrected it the first time (wreath). No problem, even with spell check it would have gotten through.

My question since you are posting "He is in the process of destroying what all those soldiers fought for" exactly what is he destroying that soldiers fought and died for? No one has died to enforce a treaty where the US pays to clean the air other countries pollute. Our air quality has been constantly improving for almost 45 years while that of China, India, and other developing countries has been getting worse.
The smog in Beijing (aka Peking) on a good day is worse than the LA smog ever was.
That pollution finds its' way across the Pacific onto our shores and we work hard to keep the air in our cities clean.
They should be paying US for cleaning up THEIR mess, not us paying them.

Thanks for the spell check. We fought 2 world wars and after the second we made strong alliances and we lead the world. We know under Trump are walking away from the very things those soldiers fought for.

The climate deal is just one of the ways we are giving our position away but there are many other ways he is destroying our alliances

What we are doing by getting out of the Paris Accord is letting other countries know that having the US pay for their mess is no longer acceptable.
I thought a lot of the civilized world laughed at Obama with his "line in the sand" stance, constantly apologizing
to other world leaders for their perceived slights against their countries, and mocking him for "winning" a Nobel Peace Prize.
Plus, it's not something of a surprise. Trump campaigned on getting out of the Paris Accord.

Yes it has, and 3 times it has caused mass extinctions of life on earth. Notice, dinosaurs no longer roam the earth. That was due to climate change. So, the lesson here is that climate change is important. Some day most life on earth will once again be destroyed due to climate change. Why do you want to speed things up?

Pretty sure the only leader in Europe that thinks highly of Trump is Putin. Of course in that case it's not respect, more of a fondness of a lap dog.

Pretty basic - The USA will now be one of the few countries of the world such as the the 2 mentioned not participating in Paris Climate Agreement. Does that not jump off the page for you?

Also Trump seems to have a thrust for power shared with the likes of autocrats / dictators like Bashar al-Assad as opposed to more rational leaders of the world that are supposed to be our partners such as leaders Angela Merkel of Germany or Justin Trudeau of Canada, to name just a couple.

Your lack of class, decorum, decency or any respect for Gregg Allman during the mourning period is noted and no surprise for it is common amongst your ilk.

The Paris Agreement is just another failed Obama plan. It is no wonder that Obama never submitted it to The Senate for ratification. Other than the obvious fact that there was no way it would pass doing so would have exposed it to media scrutiny and the people would have learned of the details that the corrupt liberal media censored such as:

1.) It obligates the U.S. to pay hundreds of billions of dollars into a fund which The U.S. has no control.
2.) The agreement obligates The U.S. to adhere to emissions standards that are unachievable.
3.) The two most polluting countries, India and China are exempt from doing anything about their emissions issues until 2030 and after 2030 they agreed only to “begin considering” addressing the matter.
4.) The agreement has no enforcement provision what so ever.
5.) The agreement adopts as fact the falsified climate data given to John Kerry to present to the Paris group by Obama.

Those are just a few of the revelations the American People would have learned about the Paris Agreement which virtually no one has read and the corrupt liberal media hides.

Obama paid the so-called “green fund” a billion dollars. The other 195 countries have paid nothing.

India, in the agreement states that they will take no steps towards reducing their countries emissions until after they receive $2.5 Trillion dollars in aid.

The agreement is just another in a long line of failed negotiations by the Obama Administration equivalent to the Iran Nuclear Deal which gives Iran a clear path to nuclear weapons and gave access to hundreds of billions of dollars to the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism.

The corrupt liberal media constantly says the other 195 nations, world leaders and climate activists are outraged with President Trump (for doing exactly what he said he was going to do).

What the corrupt liberal media doesn’t mention is that those countries and world leaders would have been the beneficiaries of America’s hundreds of billions of dollars and have no obligation to use those funds to reduce emissions in their countries. The agreement has no accountability.
There is no reason for The U.S. to participate in an agreement that would accomplish nothing.

President Trump put a stop to placating to the globalists, socialists, redistribution of wealth extremists and global warming freaks.

President Trump did what he was elected to do and the left-wing extremists are having another collective temper-tantrum. So, what else is new. They have nothing and predictably cry and stomp their feet and demonstrate their intellectual dishonesty.

I have listened to the left’s talking heads, environmental extremists and alike and not one has ever stated why the Paris Agreement is good for America.

So you cannot state why Obama's Paris Agreement is good for America.

I didn't think so.
None of your left-wing extremists friends can either.

President Trump and The U.S. gets another win and the left looses again.

Of course these are all lies. Here is the full text of the agreement:

https://www.technocracy.news/index.php/2015/12/16/full-text-paris-cop21-climate-change-agreement/

There is nothing in the agreement about India receiving 2.5 trillion in aid. The text is there. Find it if you can, which of course you can't because it is not there.

You also state that China and India are the two most polluting countries, which is false. The US emissions are twice as much as China's and 8 times more than India's. China and India are already working to curb their emissions. Trump, on the other hand, seems to be doing his best to have America increase ours.
