Better to disband the commission before they find any actual evidence from the Russian hacking attempt on voting machines working.

So does anyone who is not in favor of this decision have any substance to what this voting comimission produced other than small-ball litigation while one year in? This sounds like another government funded Washington lawyer feeding trough.

His decision to do away with it is good leadership.

Many mostly Democrat States refused to hand over data from the 2016 Election to the Commission On Voter Fraud. They fought hard that the Commission not see their records or methods because they know that many people are voting illegally. System is rigged, must go to Voter I.D.

It was Trump's own commission founded because Trump was hurt that he lost the popular vote. In short, man wins election, thus immediately forms commission to prove system is rigged, then dissolves commission before commission finishes its purpose. Brilliant.

Exactly.

Trump initiated this commission because his inflated ego was bruised that he didn't win the popular vote. What a waste & abuse of taxpayer funds which could have been used for something worthwhile like Childrens' Health Insurance Program.

This country should be doing everything it can to facilitate participation in the voting process & supporting the right to vote as opposed to attempting to suppress votes and question votes which most states said there is not a problem. These are politically motivated GOP efforts to win elections; not do what is best for the people of this country.

If the commission found anything, it was probably evidence of voter suppression. Voter ID laws solve a problem that isn't there (voter fraud) and create a larger more heinous issue (voter suppression). I've seen it first hand, it should bother every American. I remember watching footage of the South African polls, open for days until everyone voted, and I find it shameful that people here are turned away for bureaucratic nonsense.

I agree 100%.

We should be trying to get EVERYONE who is eligible to vote.

Longer hours, weekend voting, etc.

The commission, which Little Dottie demanded in an effort to, yet again, manipulate his supporters, produced absolutely nothing. And by the way, nearly every state in the union denied the Justice Departments request for voter information citing privacy rights and the illegality of the request. The entire debacle was a completely useless endeavor accept to distract from Trump's other behind the scenes foolishness.

The disbanding of the voting commission is of no consequence.
The Department of Justice has an open investigation into voter fraud and no State AG can stop it.

It has been six months and the Democrat Govs and AGs, desperate to hide their culpability in voter fraud kept running to liberal activist judges to slow-walk turning over the data.

President Trump's DOJ will expose the corruption.

"Slow walk" my *ss. Try outright refusal, ya damn reeking fascist. The govt has no right to that data. It had zero to do with "voter fraud".Your tinpot Kommandant In Chief and Newt and their ultraright goons were on a roll, thought they had the USA in the bag, getting set for a full-on fascist coup, they were after the names and addresses of anyone who voted against the new regime, so they could start a purge.

America won't let it happen. There aren't enough mulemen.

Think again, bot boy Lou. REPUBLICAN controlled election commissions and AG's denied the federal Justice Dept. request as well. Try and spin it if you like but it's a fact that Little Donnie's ego appeasement effort was thwarted by both parties who control the election process in this country.

The republican governor of Michigan refused to give out all the information the commission wanted. Told them they could only have the public records. He did the right thing for once.

Massive voter fraud unearthed by Trump’s voter fraud panel

The Democrats started out the new year by destroying one of Donald Trump’s most important efforts: They killed the national panel investigating voter fraud.

After he beat the Clintons’ dirty elections machine, Trump promised to restore integrity to the vote from Maine to California.

But Democrats know if the feds crack down on voter fraud, they can’t win another election…because they’ll all be in jail.

Instead, 14 states stonewalled the bipartisan panel chaired by Mike Pence – the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity – and refused to turn over the voter records it needed to root out fraud and abuse.

The Democrats told Trump: If you don’t like it, sue us!

Unfortunately, Trump – or Pence – threw in the towel. “Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today I signed an executive order to dissolve the Commission,” the president announced on Wednesday. DHS and The DOJ have open investigations in al 50 States and The Democrats cannot stop them.

The liberals breathed a sigh of relief and gloated over their temporary victory. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called the panel “a front to suppress the vote,” and claimed it just spread “dangerous and baseless claims” of voter fraud.

The mainstream media insisted that the panel closed because it couldn’t find any evidence of wrongdoing. As usual, the liberal media lied through their teeth.

The president’s panel investigated “voter impersonation, vote buying, noncitizen voting, dead voters, felon voting, fraudulent addresses, registration fraud, elections officials fraud, and duplicate voting,” according to the Government Accountability Institute, which testified at one of the group’s meetings.

Here are some of national vote fraud panel’s most explosive findings:

The voting dead. Investigators looked at voters’ birthdates and found that 45,880 votes in the 2016 election were cast by people who would have been at least 115 years old on election day.

Some 45 people voted, even though they were born before the year 1700!

Either there’s widespread voter fraud, or the zombie apocalypse began in the ballot box!

Underage voters. The age problem worked both ways: 292 minors voted even though they were under the age of 18.

More registered voters than adults. 7 states and Washington, D.C. have more registered voters than the number of adults legally eligible to vote. (Alaska, California, Colorado, D.C., Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, and Michigan.)

Voting multiple times. The Government Accountability Institute found 8,471 cases of duplicate voting in just 21 states. A nationwide sweep would have uncovered at least 45,000 cases of people voting in more than one city or state.

Thousands of phony addresses and names. More than 15,000 other people registered to vote using illegal addresses, like P.O. boxes, stores, and public buildings. 9,539 of those people voted in the general election.

The Rhode Island secretary of state’s office told investigators outright that it would approve a voter registration form submitted by John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt – even if it listed “a residential address that was a commercial office building, no driver’s license, (and) no Social Security number.”

These are just some of the biggest outrages exposed by the panel. They don’t include the other known instances of voter fraud.

The highly respected Pew Research found that 24 million voter registrations – one-in-8 of all U.S. registered voters – are inaccurate. There are 1.8 million dead people registered to vote and 94% of the dead voted in 2016. And 2.75 million people are registered to vote in more than one state.

Nor does this list include instances of abuse and lawbreaking that news outlets reported like the George Soros funded Acorn. People who aren’t even U.S. citizens voted 17,474 times in the swing state of Virginia alone.

After 8 years of a president who did everything he could to support voter fraud, it’s refreshing to see President Trump go after lawlessness, fraud, and vote-rigging.

Trump is right that we need strong voter ID laws that require a photo ID, proof of residence, systems to prevent people from registering in two places at once, and guarantees that no one who votes is older than the Titanic.

Unfortunately, shutting down this voter fraud panel will be used as a weapon against any real reforms. The Democrats are already saying that the president had to shut down his own panel for lack of evidence which of course is false.

The good news is that Trump has promised the DHS and DOJ will look at all this evidence and decide where, when, or if it will begin prosecuting.

If he wants to save America, he needs to start convicting corrupt election officials for vote fraud immediately, nationwide, and with no leniency. After a few dozen convictions, the Democrats won’t be able to pretend that there isn’t really a problem.

That opinion piece was so funny, I blew root beer out my nose laughing. It completely ignores that most Republican lead states also refused to turn over the requested data. Yeah, but let's work in Soros name somehow. But somehow Russian hackers aren't mentioned. Thanks for the laugh buddy.

By the way, what conspiracy theory right wing trash publication did that pile of crap come from?

Anyone can click on my two links and see how biased your source is. Why do you demand unbiased sources and yet you always use your own biased sources? But truth be told, you gave no data from anyone in your piece. The fact is, based on the link I posted, that both red and blue states refused to supply data on the illegal demands from the corrupt Trump administration.

The Advisory Commission on Election Integrity was equally staffed by Republicans and Democrats.
That commission's report was publically released and well covered by legitimate news organizations which is why you remain uninformed.

You "both red and blue states" dodge is a perfect example of deception.
Exactly how many red and how many blue states refused and in which of those groups to you place purple states such as Virginia?

The commission had 8 Republicans and 5 Democrats, all appointed by Trump. All leadership were Republicans. The Democrats wanted to look into Russian interference in the election as well, and we're denied. Two of the Democrats wrote separate letters complaining that they were excluded from meetings and weren't kept updated on proceedings. Yeah, this commission was a sham from the start. Only you could be so bias and gullible to believe they were a legitimate commission to explore voter fraud.

That commission's report was publically released and well covered by legitimate news organizations which is why you remain uninformed.

Um...

No um necessary.
The fact that the lefties here can't keep up with actual news shows yet again the ignorance of the left.

Maybe you could post a link to that non-existent report?

Since the panel itself said they had no findings....... 😛
