This is political arson. He might be the second coming of something, certainly not God, more like the sloppy seconds in a chimpanzee gangbang . . .

So, Wayne Allyn Root, a right wing Evangelical Christian and conspiracy theory nut, is now the spokesman for Jewish people the world over? That's like Ted Nugent speaking on behalf of the world's vegetarians.

Also, his comment (twice) about American Jews voting for Democrats being disloyal to Israel because he moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is exactly what everyone in the GOP raked Ilhan Omar over the coals about.

Because Omar said it's weird for a group of Americans to lobby in the interests of a foreign country, everyone said she was implying that American Jews MIGHT be more loyal to Israel than to the country where they live.

This is problematic because many European countries used this accusation against Jews in the 19th and 20th centuries to justify expelling them, forcing them into ghettos, or worse.

It has also led to Trump calling the Democratic party anti-Semitic ever since, despite the fact that Neo-Nazis tend to vote for Republicans and about 70% of American Jews vote for Democrats.

Trump is suggesting that American Jews SHOULD have a higher loyalty to Isreal than to the USA. If they should become single-issue voters here based on what has happened in Israel, they are disregarding their responsibility to vote as an integrated citizen of the USA. Therefore, they would be putting Israel's interests above those of the USA.

Also, at the annual meeting of the American Jewish lobbying group that Omar was accused of anti-Semitism against, Trump referred to Benjamin Netanyahu as "your prime minister". I heard the audio clip on the radio yesterday. Everyone in the group is an American.

How is saying that a loyalty to Israel might be un-American worse that saying that Americans Jews should have a higher loyalty to Israel?

I am not saying that Omar should have said what she did or that she couldn't have said it better or differently.

The offensive sentiment from both of them is exactly the same, though. Why aren't the same critics all over Trump?

There are only 2 things wrong with DT...1 he's a raging azzhole and 2 he's a raging azzhole

The fact that anyone would support him just means they are raging azzholes who wanted representation their azzhole ways

All the other banter is just banter...He's a raging azzhole and all of his policies and actions scream that he's a raging azzhole

Approximately 88% of identified Republicans support him. That should tell us all we need to know about the character and undertanding of issues of a good portion of this country.

He may actually be a good representative (or representation) of that portion of this country.

I started to make a list of the characteristics, but it seemed too mean.

Am counting on Gina to provide some perspective on Trump's proclamation that he is the King of Israel and the Second Coming of God. If anything fits the Revelations program, this is it.

Now now gang, don't be distracted by the daily buffoonery that is Donald Trump....While he certainly is loony, insecure, and not particularly learned about many things is this world, he does know spouting off such stupidity distracts from his failures on multiple levels.

Foreign policy clusterf@cks, skyrocketing budget deficit, slowing economy, no end in sight of his trade wars that are negatively affecting consumers, manufacturers, farmers, etc. Pretty much everything he claimed credit for is imploding around him. Blame everyone else and distract, distract, distract.....Especially now as his failures are really becoming obvious to everyone except his die hard worshipers.....

Your second paragraph is one that needs a second read for those that claim to be Republicans. Trump's economic policies defy everything that the former GOP stood for. He has sacraficed sound economic policy for sugar highs and short term relief.

Here is a GOP that practically made Obama beg for continuing resolutions while letting Trump deficits explode. The GOP would have run Obama out of town if he advocated policies like Trump's. What ever happended to protecting our childrens' and grandchildrens' futures? How often do you hear the GOP Senate step up and advocate for trade wars and tariffs on our trading partners like Trump does? Why the silience...because they're all scared $shitless of the tweeter in chief. Of all the courses I studied in economics, I don't recall a textbook nor a professor touting the positives for trade wars & tariffs. Larry Kudlow, a free trade adovocate and economic advisor to Trump must just be an empty suit and an economic advisor in title only. Trump will do what he wants regardless of sound theory and advice.

And now Trump talks of desires to have the Fed drop interest rates or to possibly have a reduction in payroll taxes. If the economy is as strong as Trump says, these are not policies that would be needed. These are stimulative in nature and usually used in weak times to juice the economy. Is he saying that his most recent tax cut didn't get the job done & he needs more? Aren't we at a good position on the employment front?

What's wrong with his economic policies and his economy, and isn't it apparent what he's looking for is a policy to bolster his second run for office? I hear analysts say that a strong economy is his path back to the White House. We had a strong economy during the midterms, Trump was a proxy on the ballot, and he got thumped. I think there's so much anti trump sentiment, that even a strong economy or a sugar high economy take second seat to a rejection of Trump and his bankrupt human traits and character.

When they are silent, they are laughing and celebrating silently.

Yes I know this well, the smug silence of the ecstatic juvenile delinquent watching a distraught victim discover some damage -but when they are jubilant they usually can't resist at least a few gloating jabs - I think that the president referring to hmself as God may have deeply shocked and offended right wing evangelicals. This is textbook blasphemy - a serious transgression to them. The Redhats know this, and are holding their breath until this one blows over - the Evangelicals are the prime movers of Trumpism, if their support wavers, Trump is toast. If I were a Redhat I would not be too happy about this King of Israel stuff.

As for me, these lunatic monkeyshines don't offend rational people. It is more a cause for concern, like when you see a person wandering around in rush hour traffic in a hospital gown, hollering and drooling.

Not so sure, Brer. I saw a spokesman for the evangelicals on TV the other night. He said that they preety much just see this a Trump being silly and can't take his words too seriously. He admitted that Obama would have been viewed differently if Obama made the statements since he is a different type than Trump. What a hypocritical attitude of the evangelical. They turn their head toward all dispicable words and actions of Trump towards mankind as long as he delivers judges and justices. They certainly sold their souls to the ilk of a president.

Yes there is that - that formidable stone wall of aggressive willful ignorance - however I have also seen some fracturing from honest Christians who aren't buying and are drawing the line at this. Am also seeing some good Republican backlash against Trump - they may be growing a spine - they will evolve into vertebrates of necessity.

Now he's "ordering" American companies to stop doing business with China and "ordering" FedEx, UPS, Amazon and the Post Office to open all packages from Chain and look for fentanyl.

Good grief already.

UPS, Fed Ex? My shit is flown in on military aircraft paid for by you the tax payer. Thanks American Joe and Donald Trump for adding $80 Billion to an already bloated Pentagon budget....A few million of that pays for my "shipments."

All kidding aside, Trump's bluster and constant twitter crap is getting more absurd as the pressure is ratcheting up. This is all text book Trump. The claims get ever more outlandish as the heat gets turned up. It's Dear Leaders MO going back decades....Same old tired playbook and still works for keeping the diehards convinced he a "stable genius" despite the obvious.

Keep it up Little Donnie...Alienate those independents you'll need in 2020.

Actually he has been misquoted. The second coming referred to his taking on China's trade war troubles, he started talking about China and he said 'somebody had to to it, and nobody would, so I am the chosen one...

Then he returned to how great he and his policies are and will be for Israel. I know the prophecies and I know what is to come. When the anti-Christ does rise there will be lots of grannies for jihad, old crabby people who will not bow down to the demonic entity that will want to rule the world.

Part of the rant against China doesn't make sense because they are doing retaliatory tarriffs on our goods, that is not good for us. All these countries are just responding to what Trump does, even Russia, they do not want war, but we are sending nuclear equipped cruise missiles to Europe, so they will follow our lead.

Back to China, we have an 84 billion with a B trade deal with them to start fracking gas from the Utica Marcellus shale deposits from upstate NY to Ohio/West Virginia, that is how Trump will save Appalachia, creating fracking jobs. One of the problems is the fracking causes earthquakes and we are not fond of those here on the east coast, especially that one that runs along the Ramapo Valley down to Staten Island which is just a hop skip and and a jump from lower Manhattan and Wall Street, but don't let safety stand in the way of money. There is also the East coast fault line that could be impacted....

Read his tweets in the OP. The "second coming of God King of Israel" jive where he takes the Lord's Name in vain and claims Jews in Israel see him as God, is from Wayne Allen Root, an Evangelical hack - Trump used Root's blasphemy to proclaim his new God of Israel status.

I will admit I am concerned with some of the self glorifying things that have been done on his name over there. When his deal of the century is laid out for the entire Jewish/Palestinian people, there will be reactions. Lots of little things people are not yet aware of, Iran and Russia plan to form a one United banking alliance, the Queen of England agreed to suspend Parliament till after BREXIT, Lebanon says Israel declared war on them, Trump wants to reopen the NSA spy on everybody program and make it permanent everything works together towards dragging us to war, wwwIII and the anti-Christ sitting in the new Temple in Jerusalem. All these other things are part of the how we get there to that point.
