Tanned, Exquisitely Coiffed Bernie Sanders Tells Supporters Corporations Actually Have A Lot To Offer.
DAVENPORT, IA—Expounding upon the many ways in which they’ve positively impacted the country at large, a tanned and impeccably coiffed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reportedly informed supporters gathered at a campaign stop Thursday that corporations actually have a tremendous amount to offer the American people. “Businesses both large and small play a vital role in our society, creating good jobs and pumping billions back into the economy, and corporations are just the largest and most successful of these businesses—and certainly we shouldn’t punish success,” said the presidential hopeful, adjusting the alligator-skin band on his diamond-encrusted Bulgari watch as he elaborated on the ways in which publicly held companies in the financial, telecommunications, and oil and gas sectors have spurred growth and development in communities across the country. “And when you think about it, these companies aren’t just some faceless entities—they’re our neighbors, our family members, and our friends, all working together to make America the truly great nation it is.” At press time, Sanders could be seen smiling and waving from the stairs leading up to a brand-new Gulfstream personal jet before heading off to a private fundraiser at Sheldon Adelson’s estate.

You don't really think this guy is touring the country just telling people what they want to hear just so he will get elected do you???

That would make him a .... (gasp) politician!

Next - now that he's the front-runner in some polls - he'll be having private events with the bankers and hedge fund managers in lower Manhattan, collecting big bags of campaign cash.
Bernie knows where the D's money comes from. Just like Obama, he'll chastise big business to win the votes of the masses, then cut deals, collect stacks of cash, and route govt favors to his cronies.
But Bernie's for the little guy! Look how well Obama worked that con.

All politicians do it a degree. The operative word is "degree". If this is your cynical angle of criticizing Bernie without presenting data to support a theory, then the choice would be to pick the politician who would probably do it the least. I'm guessing that other than Trump, Bernie would be at the low end of the totem pole in being bought. Of course, Trump brags about not being bought, but as time moves forward, and if he remains a contender, he may not want to keep ponying up his own money.

True, which is no doubt why Bernie Sanders is following the Obama playbook of saying all the right things during his campaign.

Well, he does look more "Presidential" in the pic in the op. And that's what's most important...

Bernie Sanders is saying what he has been saying all his career.
You on the other hand got taken in by an onion post

Where did I say I believed THAT was a real article or picture of Bernie Sanders?? Haha!
Alexis Tsipras said all the right things in Greece and, it appears, even tried to follow through on his promises. Then he had his ass handed to him on a plater by the people who actually run things and resigned.
Were Bernie Sanders to actually get elected I promise you will see plenty of videos like this:

Show me one position Bernie Sanders has taken on the campaign trail in conflict with what he has said his entire career.

I will try not to be cynical here and I do appreciate the fact that Bernie Sanders has walked the talk as the mayor of Burlington and a Senator from VT, but by his own design or the reality of the system we live in I am deeply skeptical and suspicious of anyone working within the Democratic/Republican system and am doubtful that it is possible (or even desired, in many cases) for politicians to serve as anything more than auctioneers and corporate agents.
The first evidence I have seen of this with Bernie Sanders is his deafening silence on foreign policy. All he has said so far is that he would probably continue the Obama's (winner of the Nobel Peace Prize) drone policy which kills hundreds of civilians each year. I would also expect someone with as much enthusiasm for the average citizens of this country to have something to say abut the Trillions (trillion with a T) of dollars we are spending on the military and endless and undefined foreign wars we are engaged in. All I have seen him say so far is that he thinks Saudi Arabi ought to be more involved in the proxy wars currently tearing the Middle East to shreds and eviscerating the lives of millions of human beings. Other than that, he has been virtually silent and his policy points are completely disconnected from the largest budget item in our economy: the US Military. That seems really strange to me for the humanitarian image he projects on domestic issues.
I'd vote for Bernie given the other choices right now but that doesn't mean I think he is what he says he is and you and everyone else should be skeptical too. This doesn't even get into the issue of whether he could implement any of his policies were he to get elected; see Alex Tsipras.

At the same time, you can't spell Bernie Sanders without BS! 😉

Bernie from 1992. Yes 1992.

That's great and all but I haven't heard him say anything like that in 2015
