Tell us what you really like about Biden

Read that paragraph a couple more times cyclone88, I see what you were saying now, hadn’t seen trounced used in that context b4
as I’ve said, I consider the mainstream & underground media to be Trump’s enemies
I look at news headlines on my phone from a wide variety, the LA/NY Times & WSJ to the lower tier
Led by CNN, 99 out of 100 of those headlines were & are slanted if not slanderous to one degree or another -
I totally hope these media outlets will find reason to be fair w/the new administration

I personally find Trump's "popularity" with his flock (that's what you call a gathering of sheep) to be ironic and ridiculous.
I've already alluded to all the "crackers" in the south who DO NOT have a 401K, DO NOT have market investments and who DO NOT even have a health care plan who line up at the trough to nuzzle up to him. This morning, I took my 82 year old aunt in for her monthly haircut. The stylist is a 70 year old woman of Mexican descent who is an avid Trump supporter. She basically jumped all over my aunt for having dared vote for Biden. Her immediate position is that "Biden supports abortion"
Anti-abortion. I get that. But then, I could not help but point out that her political idol actually erected (or tried his damnedest to) a freakin' WALL to keep HER PEOPLE out of this country. I also mentioned the number of innocent children separated from their families courtesy of his policies. She was speechless.

Good. Glad we cleared up that you & I were in agreement.
My philosophy is that the media is going to create headlines re anyone they deem newsworthy for 30 seconds no matter who they are. They're in business to sell ads not truth. It's up to the reader/watcher/listener to determine who is most palatable to them.
I've said this before, I don't have a TV. I read some sections of the NYT, professional journals, & a few foreign publications & have done so for at least 10 years. I don't think I've missed the big picture by not getting 24/7 coverage of speculation/minutiae by some talking head or writer w/an axe to grind. I also realize that anyone can leak anything they want & the media laps it up. Trump himself treated the NYPost as his personal PR agent for at least 30 years & he called on his friend National Enquirer owner David Pecker to "catch & kill" unflattering stories. The media in general is not fair & unbiased.

Another thing I like about President-Elect Biden is there will be dogs in the White House. Also, the First Lady-Elect enjoys running.
Here's to getting our country back. 🥂

Sorry if I'm repeating myself but the last time one of our conspiracy theory loving member tried his gaslight game from the fake reality they all like to live in
"Tell us what you like about Biden" ...He beat *tRump...

I feel like repeating this again...."What do I like about Biden"....He beat *tRump...

For me, he was the lesser of two evils this time around. I'm really not a fan. I hope and pray that one day a VIABLE third party will emerge. The two that we have now have pretty much driven a wedge down the center of our society. The pendulum swings wide left and wide right - it never seems to land on common sense and reason. But I voted for Joe.

@porkchopbob I guess it's in the eye of the beholder to a degree. I don't do party politics - period. There was no way in Hell I was going to vote for Trump or any of his cronies or family members. Rewind the tape on Biden - he has a past (that he apologies for) of supporting things like the three strike act. He's been accused of being a little on the touchy-feely side by a few women. He's the ONE democrat out of the entire field who is AGAINST legalization of cannabis. Decriminilaization ain't enough! Keep your laws off by body and out of my private life!
His political ad's were all feel-good stuff ("... the soul of America") and he was slow-pitched to by the press.
I voted for him for what (who) he ain't - not what he is. But I voted for him, so there.
Peace.

& that’s the problem - Biden wasn’t elected, Trump was defeated - that’s largely what this election was about - negativism 1st, the winning candidate 2nd
will that approach prove out for the betterment of America
we shall see, but we should all rally around the new administration as it gets up & running & be supportive, at least at 1st

LMAO! What's there to like? Nothing. Joe should have retired from politics after being VP, he has really bad dementia or even Alzheimer's, and his son is a crackhead; but both are owned by the Chinese, Arabs, and sketchy Eastern European countries like the Ukraine.
Don't get it twisted, I do not like either of the two major political parties here in the USA.
