Ted Nugent Announces ‘Sonic Baptizm’ Summer 2016 Tour
By Dave Lifton March 11, 2016 3:31 PM

Ted Nugent is getting set to hit the road again. Today (March 11), he revealed the first dates on what he’s calling the ‘Sonic Baptizm’ tour.

Nugent will kick off on July 1 at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Ariz., followed by five more shows on the West Coast over the next eight days. More concerts will be announced at a later date, but for now, there are only three others – Albert Lea, Minn., on Aug. 5, Pikeville, Ky., on Aug. 19 and Fremont, Ohio on Aug. 27 – confirmed as of now. The schedule can be found below.

The dates and times for when tickets go on sale vary based on the venue, so check Nugent’s website for complete information. Nugent is offering a DangerZone package which, in addition to the ticket, gets you a VIP laminate, and 8×10 photo of Nugent that he will autograph and a pre-show meet-and-greet where you can have your picture taken with him.

Ted Nugent last toured in 2014 behind the release of his most recent album, Shutup&Jam. Those dates were marked by controversy, as two venues canceled his shows upon receiving complaints from people calling him a racist. Nugent vehemently denied the charges and blamed the cancellations on “sick, sick, stoned, hygiene-challenged Michael Moore fans [who] call all the promoters, they call all the venues, they call all my sponsors, every day.”

Ted Nugent ‘Sonic Baptizm’ Tour Dates:
7/1 – Phoenix, Ariz.
7/2 – Pasadena, Calif.
7/3 – Beverly Hills, Calif.
7/6 – San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
7/7 – Agoura Hills, Calif.
7/9 – Wendover, Nev.
8/5 – Albert Lea, Minn.
8/19 – Pikeville, Ky.
8/27 – Fremont, Ohio

I am interested in getting a review for this tour. I will throw in a couple of tix if I can get a couple Hillary and Bernie supporters to go wearing these t-shirts.

hmmmmmmmm............no one has offered me $250 + a free ticket to attend a Nugent show. Guess I'll have to miss it, then. I'll miss the Donald Trump rally too. Also the Walmart gun rack sale.

A good friend of mine, a progressive, is 6' 8" and a former MMA fighter. I ought to buy him one of those meet and greets. 😉

Good.
You will be in good company because cowards don't attend Ted shows or Trump rallies.

Now go stand outside and hold your little sign.

Except of course, Ted himself. After all, dodging the Vietnam war draft and years later constantly ranting about war and how some other American should fight is the epitome of cowardice in my book. But I suppose you actually believe he's the tough guy "patriot" he tries to portray himself as.

The flag doesn't belong on a tshirt like this. It's about as disrespectful as you can get. But of course Ted fans are too stupid to know that.

Now we're blaming Ted and his fans for flags on t shirts ?

Not "blaming" anyone for anything, just pointing out that the flag deserves more respect than being turned into a t-shirt.
