Being a registered independent, I'm not for either political party, and could care less how many women Trump or anyone else has had with the consent of the woman. If his wife doesn't care, then why should I ?

I agree with this. Compared to all of the other reasons why Trump is not fit for office, this is way down on the list.

Everyone with half a brain knew that Trump had low moral character going into the election, and he won anyway. The party of family values has sold its soul. The Evangelicals who used to care about morals now only cares about a politician's stance on abortion, and maybe guns. And if a candidate dislikes the same people you dislike - that's all that really matters.

The possible campaign donation violations is interesting though.

It's not violation of donations; it's violation of campaign finance laws in whatever form they take. This is ONLY a story because actions surrounding 6 women who publicly say they had sex w/T 12 years ago occurred in 2016 during the campaign. It's mind-boggling that anyone around Trump would attempt to silence his sex partners of any era or discredit a tape of T talking about women as if that would make any difference to the voters you mentioned above. He's a womanizer and proud of it.

Of course his election makes Americans looked stupid - people who still believe the US isn't ranked behind other countries in multiple categories, including education, and believe T's reality star persona as the quintessential businessman. The US reputation is far from stellar and he's not what he claims. He's a failed NYC real estate developer (inherited properties from his wealthy father & made a splash while his brother quietly inherited an equal # of properties and made money not headlines and bankruptcies but we never hear about him.) T couldn't get financing from US sources after the 1980s and turned to - Russia and China and Germany. He made his REAL money from reality TV. He has admitted he made more $ from The Apprentice after he got a producer credit than he made in all his real estate ventures combined.

The cumulative effect you mention was obvious within his first 90 days in office. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing, the limits on executive power, and the fact that there are 2 other branches of government who presumably serve as a check & balance on him. He's not King; he's president of a democracy & he's very unhappy to learn this. "You're fired" works on TV; not so much in the nation's highest office.

Frankly, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he wasn't behind all this noise about other women. Americans enjoy sex stories and it distracts from his incompetence.
