Today i went to Rose Hill and made a few photos and videos of important places to the brotherhood.
Since there are those here who have never been there, and probably won't get the chance due to age, distance, and other constraints, I narrated the videos.
One place they spent time there is in a straight line down College St, through the gate, and a short walk down the curvy road and down into the woods.
Also, a little surprise coincidence.

Make sure you expand (full screen) the image.

Enjoy and let me know if you want more.

OH, and my woodchipper video is there.

Very enjoyable, thanks for posting. Cool

You're welcome. Any other places in mid Ga you want videos of?

Look like a lovely day for a tour through Macon (and that's despite portrait-mode video being one of my biggest pet peeves)

I hadn't planned on being there and didn't have my video camera. I was coming back from the Doc and didn't want to get in the traffic snarl 1-75/16 has become.
Found myself on Riverside Dr. at Spring St. and decided to turn right and see how some of the grave restorations were getting along over in Oak Ridge.

Rotate the phone 😉

Still, lovely tour. Thanks for sharing. Was H&H open?

Didn't go that way, but it usually is on Friday lunch time.

I'll try to remember that next time.

Thanks Jerry.

I went there in '76, I was 20. Hitched there on my way out west. (Had to go there first)

It's so different from what I remember. Duane and Berry's plots look lower, I remember them being raised up from the ground a foot, foot and a half, maybe it's the ground cover. Also, I remember Duane's headstone being not as tall and longer. That spot looks so different now. I remember the path you mentioned from the graves to the ground below.

Man what an experience that was.

nice Jerry!!

A few years back, when visiting GA's site, I parked down by the tracks and as I walked up the hill a train slowly passed by. Gave me chills. I was the only one there that day.

First, thanks Jerry this is really nice that you did this.

The photos are good. The video is really nice. They did a lot of work of bring everyone into one place and leaving room for others. It seems more balanced than the way it used to be with the original fencing, and having Butch there makes it special because he belongs with the others. It is a fitting memorial for the band.

As to other videos we'd like, High Falls, Stone Mountain before they destroy it in the ongoing attempt to appease the BLM movement.

Not exactly Rose Hill, but an early summer morning, a hammock in the shade, a little breeze, and i just wanted to goof off a little.

Wide screen it and let it play. Imagine you're on the hammock.
